The staff is friendly, and I stop here for lunch fairly often when I'm working in the area. The parking is fairly spacious, too, despite the rather lacking entryway.
Some workers here can be inconsistent about orders and prices, though. I've had the exact same order on several occasions (a combo with a small blizzard rather than a beverage), and one worker has (on two or three occasions) charged me for the entire combo AND a blizzard while saying there was no alternative means of punching it into their system. Being only a dollar or two extra, the relevance isn't that much in my book, but that inconsistency is still an itch. That's the only person I've seen at any DQ who does that.
Aside from that, the staff has a consistent habit of putting the spoon in a blizzard through a soda lid. I have two options to remove it: lift the lid and slide the spoon's handle through the lid and get ice cream all over the entire spoon OR yank the scooping end out of the lid and risk splashing ice cream everywhere.
Either way, not fun to clean up. I don't have a clue why they do that, but it's rude and a rather pointless waste of plastic.
All in all, this is definitely a good DQ to stop by if you like cute outside seating or want to sit around in your car on a busy day, but they're either not keeping a supply of proper blizzard lids or just not familiar with...
Read moreTl;dr: kid always screws up orders, and the food is room temp.
We were the only car in the drive thru line.
We ordered at 9:30 on a Saturday night. Ordered a chocolate blizzard with reeses pieces, a vanilla blizz with fudge and cookie dough, and a burger meal. Got a vanilla blizz with reeses cups (2 errors), a chocolate blizz with cookie dough and fudge (#3 and 4), a room temp burger (#5), and stale room temp fries (#6). We didn't even get a receipt! (#7)
Holy cow! Just microwave the cheeseburger and dip the fries in the fryer for 45 seconds and it's all good.
My woman is too nice to leave harsh reviews no matter how true, but she was also annoyed because this DQ messes up orders very often.
Don't waste your money. Handel's, Pav's, Stow-Cone, Strickland's, even Wendy's or McDonalds are all better even for the price. Even if they comp it, we're not coming back for the free food.
LESSON LEARNED
To the manager: If the kitchen is dirty or unstocked, you really need to do yourself a solid and give this kid the boot. If you need a reason, check the cameras and watch how long she's on her phone. 7 errors on a 4 item...
Read moreWeird experience. I asked for a large Ice water with my almost 9 dollar order, which every other DQ offers for .25 cent with no problem.
When I get to the window the goofy cashier gives me a medium cup of just Ice. I told her I asked for a large ice water. She says her manager told her to give me a medium. Then steps away comes back and still hands me a medium cup of just ice.
When I stated again I asked for an ice water, and had no problem taking the medium because I was apparently being denied BUYING a large water, the girl looks at me like I was asking her to hand me Money out of the register. Finally clicked in her brain to actually add water to the ice water.
Then had the audacity to act like she had an attitude. Just all around weird. Imagine having to pratically beg for a cup of water that you litterrally were willing to pay for but it being offered to you as ice in a cup and acting as if your asking for to much.
Waste of my time and money and I...
