I have rated one star to possibly get the attention of the company. I do not believe our visit deserves one star. We have visted quite a few times and had pretty good service all the way around. The food i would definitely rate a 5. It was very good. As well as very appealing to the eye. Our fries were fresh, crispy and glistening along with there being more than enough. Our sandwiches looked gigantic and very well put together. The wings were nice and crispy, and very cutely arranged on the plate single file on each side due to split sauce, and there wasn't a saucey mess all over the plate either!! It was kinda pricey but for how amazing everything was it was worth it. Our server seemed very friendly. The person that brought our food was very emotionless though and when they were calling out the different items they were pretty quiet. We were saying thank you and got no response. Then as we were in the middle of asking for a few extra sauces and they had already turned and walked away. We tried to get their attention but it was way too loud. I understand it's busy and they have other food to bring out or get together so we didnt care, we were going to just ask the server. Our server didn't come to check on us for a long while. (Which is understandable considering they were pretty busy when we had arrived.) So we resorted to trying to get anyones attention. After a while we noticed a woman pretty close to us at the bar. Tried to get the attention of the young lady. But she was too busy chatting it up with the young guy sitting next to her. She was wearing an ontap shirt, so I assume she is part of the staff. We tried waving towards the bartenders but no one noticed us due to them gushing over this guy and sharing his food. Rarely fixing drinks as the servers stood there waiting. We love on tap. But this was very unprofessional. I'd understand if this woman had been off the clock at the bar hanging out, but by the end of it she had gone around the bar and had begun helping them, as they were now seemingly backed up. The servers seemed to have a very frustrated look as they couldn't decide to wait for their drinks or go check on other things. Probably one of the reasons we didn't get checked on for 20 minutes after we had received our food. So I know it's not a case of her being off the clock. A few times in the past that we have visted, I have noticed the same thing happening with the same guy. That's why I have finally decided to write this review. I've worked for restaurants before and this would never have been tolerated. This should definitely be something that you should look into. I believe it makes your company look bad and unprofessional. I understand it's just a sports bar but the new ontap vibe gives a sense of professionalism and I believe you should try to keep this image. We never were able to get anyone's attention and just decided to eat the rest of our food without the sauce. The server came around and was seemingly apologetic about not having checked on us sooner. I appreciate that she had not just left us annoyed without any explanation. She was very attentive and sweet after that. It's very hard to come by actual good servers and I'd commend them if I had...
Read moreI could not have been happier at how our baby shower turned out yesterday 8/31/25 at On Tap in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. From the moment I called 5 months ago and spoke to Erica who is over events and scheduling. Erica had a great, friendly vibe and was never bothered by my many calls and emails : ) I had called many venues to get information on having our baby shower at their venues and was not impressed with their pricing or the length of time they allowed for a function. I scheduled our baby shower with Erica at On Tap, to use their back room. Erica made everything very easy with all our communication and a few in person meetings to make sure that she had all the information of exactly what we wanted and how I would like to customize. The process was easy and I love how their business model does not charge for the room just the food and drinks that you order. We were able to bring in all of our own deserts as well and they allowed us to put them in their walk in cooler. We had the choice of choosing a buffet or a limited menu and we chose the limited menu. We started by serving our guests a whole host of appetizers which were kept out for about an hour. We had 8 different appetizers the guests could munch on until dinner. The servers then took our guests orders and their food came out within 20 or 25 minutes and was fabulous. Our limited menu had 6 different dinner choices which our guests appreciated they were also able to order vegetarian, gluten free and sugar free options if they needed to. From the time we walked in the door to decorate (we were able to enter On Tap at 10:00 a.m. to begin decorating ( our baby shower started at 2:00) so we had plenty time to prepare the room for the arrival of our guests without feeling rushed or stressed. ALL of their personnel jumped in to open doors, fill vases with water, from the bartender to the chef to our servers. All had a kind friendly spirit. What a gift that was! Our servers had drinks constantly filled and were cleaning up dishes to make room for deserts and wonderful conversations! Thank you On Tap employees for making our baby shower so incredibly special! I highly, highly recommend if you are having any type of function to look into what On Tap has to offer. They did an absolutely amazing job all the way around! The difference in pricing (we thought) fit what we were looking for and came with far more flexibility than any other of the 6 venues we contacted. Hope this helps someone else who may be looking for a venue to host your holiday parties, baby showers, Birthday parties, rehearsal dinners etc. you will not be...
Read moreMy husband and I used to frequent On Tap until last summer when we got a string of bad waitresses. We decided to go tonight, and it was our worst experience ever. We came around 8 and it wasnt busy. The waitress took over 10 minutes to come greet us, we were about to leave when she finally showed up. She took our drink and food order, lets forget about the point where i mentioned i was between applesauce and cottage cheese at a side, and she completely ignored me and said to just eat some of my husband's fries if im not sure i want them. then disappeared for around 20 more minutes, at which point I went over to the bartender and let her know, thinking she would at least give us the water we ordered. She disappeared to the back to get our waitress, but never gave us our water either. Our food showed up before the waitress with our waters. Instead of a real apology she said, "I gave them to you in my head," with attitude, at which point my husband asked her for extra, knowing it's the only way we would get refills.
The food was also terrible. I ordered a chicken caesar wrap, and the chicken was burned so badly it was hard. I ended up removing it from the wrap, I was honestly afraid to send it back the way we were being treated. Our waitress did show up one more time to ask if we wanted dessert, and when we said no, she said she would get the bill. Don't worry, this also took a ridiculously long time, first for her to drop it off, then to come back and grab it. I always tip well, I know it's hard being a waitress and they don't make much, however I told my husband not to bother and he felt...
