Vincent's Bakery — Restaurant in Cuyahoga Falls

The greatest bakery I have ever been to. I discovered this place about a month ago when friends mentioned it to us. 1 month later and I’m on my 5th chocolate cake. It’s a 7inch chocolate cake with the greatest chocolate frosting you will ever have. It’s beyond decadent. It’s moist. It’s the perfect balance of sweetness. Just cutting into it is a task because it’s so thick. I love sweets and especially love cakes but I have never had a repeat performance anywhere here in Akron until Vincent’s. I order a cake every week with one week having a double cake order. The owner is the sweetest and all you need is a day notice and they will bake you this cake and many others. They have pies. We traveled from Indiana to get some cannolis and cookies(and maybe visit with our much missed family) and we were not disappointed! Everything was just like I remembered as a kid at Christmas with my uncles Italian family bringing their fresh baked treats. The cannolis had crisp shells with smooth mascarpone and bits of almonds, that's just the perfect balance of sugar. Not overly rich but still so satisfying for the sweet tooth. And the cookies, oh my goodness! I wish I would of gotten double or triple of them. I have not had a Russian wedding cookie that could live up to Vincent's in my life! I even got some cookies from them that are made just for the fur babies in your life. The thumbprint cookies were so crumbly and chewy, just perfect. We ordered a tiramisu cake from Vincent's for an 18th birthday. What we got was definitely NOT tiramasu. There were no lady fingers, it had no coffee liqueur, and was incredibly dry. On top of that they misspelled the birthday girl's name on the cake! We called in to complain, and were told that we obviously didn't know what tiramasu was! And that we ordered the wrong cake. Tiramisu is one of my favorite desserts so I really resented the notion that I was somehow ignorant because the cake was bad! They said that I had never had tiramisu before and refused to give me a refund of the $40 I spent, but offered to give me a sample of some "italian cake" so I could order the right thing next time.
