My boyfriend and I sat with him and he explained how it opened and once he got it open and studied it's internals, he loved the simplicity of its wires and how it operated, got the old screen out and test the new one, then got it installed. All the while dealing with another customer periodically on the phone needing to get their phone ASAP. I can't say the price is the same for everyone that walks through his door, but he only charged us $120, again, because to open my phone is not as risky as opening an iPhone. Anyone that has an iPhone that dropped it in water and needs it fixed, find out how much Apple would charge you just to open it, then look up what the inside of an iPhone 15 looks like and how stupid easy it is to break something opening it by being too aggressive, having to pay attention to every microscopic screw and piece as you dismantle it to dry everything out before anything can rust, making sure connections are good. I really want to give higher stars because the man running the store is very kind and generous but I brought in my iPad to be fixed with a cracked screen/lcd. 5 minutes after leaving the lcd was already broken and had caused lines on the screen. I tell him this and he tells me to bring it back and I have to pay for it to be repaired a second time. I bring it home and the screen is still malfunctioning. The main use of this iPad is for my son to draw on and I use it with the Apple Pencil for digital art. Many parts of the screen do not allow me or my son to draw on. If you are planning on getting an iPad fixed that you use for digital drawing, i recommend just buying a new one. He was very generous with pricing and I really appreciate that but something with the parts is not right. It works, but not like it did before. My son is autistic and this iPad is his comfort item which is why it needed fixed so bad but I spent all I had for it to still not work right.
