Hibachi Xpress Cuyahoga Falls — Restaurant in Cuyahoga Falls

I’m always honest with my reviews yes the food did taste good and the lady let me know it would be good, because she said she was cooking. And since change of ownership the restaurant is much cleaner. She told me it would be 15 minutes it took well over twenty but that’s not the problem. Because I’m always willing to wait for good service, good food, and value. The problem is I must not have tipped her well enough because a lady was coming in after me to order and she apparently got 2 of exactly the one same thing I got. When the food was finished after I returned in 15 minutes and waited another 10. There were three containers lined up and the lady cooked the chicken because our orders were done at the same time. She put an equal amount of chicken in each container which was not even close to what you’re supposed to get and nothing compared to any other hibachi restaurant. I said nothing because I didn’t want to seem greedy but I want to get my moneys worth. She preceded to freely say oh I didn’t make enough chicken went to the fridge to get raw chicken stood there and cut it up real quick. Walked back over put it on the grill. I’m thinking well I was here first she’s probably going to take something from the rude lady’s container and give it to me then finished making the rest of the chicken and give it to the lady since I ordered first. She didn’t she just took the vegetable off the grill which weren’t many either. Put them in my box and said here’s your order while she preceded to cook the other lady the right amount. Yes I’m probably being a Karen sorry all Karen’s, but I want to get what I paid for. And the order had barely any vegetables, couple pieces of meat and a whole lot of rice. Personally I just wanted to leave a review and warn you, that you better tip big to get your value but when you’re tipping big you won’t get your value so it’s a no win situation. Most places I tip very very well but I always hate doing it before I get my food. For all you money hungry people that won’t do anything unless they know before hand they get a tip. Most people tip, but we like doing it afterwards. And you may get a surprise for superior service. Just saying. Even in non tipped jobs like this I always tip generously at the end and I know because I’ve been told. Service sucks anymore! I just want value and decent food. And I actually did even tip at the beginning that’s the kicker I always do. I’m just generous when I feel they go...

Ordered online and only got half my food. I went back and explained everything and showed my confirmation and how much I paid. The lady at the front argued with me and told me that there was nothing they could do and I would have to put in another order and pay again. After some back and forth the woman who was doing the cooking came up and showed the lady at the front that I was right and quickly made the food. The cook was fantastic and the only reason that I'm not giving a 1 start rating. The lady at the front was rude, argumentative, and all around not pleasant. She was also arguing with the cook stating that she shouldn't keep apologizing to me they have already apologized. She was also charging people for soy sauce packets. 3 for $1. Any other Asian food restaurant gives you a handful of soy sauce for nothing. This place would be decent if not for the woman working the front. Mind you, I paid $116 for this food...

Called ahead my order,was given 20 minutes til pick up . Arrived within 23 min to learn my order was given to ??? Not Me!!! Was told additional 8-10 minutes (I have already allowed an additional 10 minutes by now for them to decide they gave my order to? (They had not even made it yet that’s just the excuse they used ) was charged 3/$1 soy sauce packets (I ordered a la carte fried rice && a chicken entree —which was garnished with 1 yum-yum ? Since when ? I’ve always received 2 with an entree , 1 with a side , 3 with a double meat ! And never charged for soy sauce packets !! Great food , horrible service . Very upsetting.
