Moon Tea — Restaurant in Cypress

Husband and I have been keeping our eye out for this place to open. We always just get their regular milk tea and if we like it, then we go back and try their other things.

Tea: The regular milk tea with no toppings, regular sugar and regular ice. It’s a very simple tasting tea. Stronger tea flavor. Just good, creamy, and not overly sweet. I was surprised that it was the 100% sweetness. But husband and I both like it! We’ll be coming back and trying their other flavors!

Service: The worker was very sweet and friendly. Very polite and informative. Drink came out quick and had no issues!

Atmosphere: Absolutely loved the atmosphere. Very much leaned into the “moon” theme. Simple and elegant. They had some games available to play. Enough seating for a small group to come and hang out. There’s only 1 bathroom but it was super clean.

My family and I like to visit Moon Tea on Sunday afternoons. My son likes the moon themed atmosphere. We order our favorite drinks then play a few rounds of uno. My favorite drink is the crème brûlées milk tea with crystal boba. My son always orders the peach soda and my husband likes to order a different drink each time. We also share a crème brûlées and a pandan puff waffle. The ambiance is cozy and inviting. We talked with the staff and found out that this is a family owned business. Moon Tea's milk tea has a moderate taste, not too sweet, and the tea aroma is very fragrant. One of my favorites is original milk tea. The tapioca pearls here are chewy, soft, not too hard or too mushy, and chewy enough. In addition, Moon Tea also has many other toppings such as jelly, pudding, cream cheese, all of which are delicious and suitable for many people's tastes.
