Is it possible to give zero stars for service? We came in and a football game had just begun. We weren't greeted for 10 minutes, so I stood up looking around. The bartender came by and said someone would be with us shortly. Another 10 minutes passed with me standing up. A server greeted a table behind us for the first time, who had been seated before we were. We ordered our soft drinks and could have ordered our meals, but the server left the table abruptly. She returned with our drinks a (relatively) short time later, and we placed our order: philly with fries and garden salad with balsamic vinaigrette. All this time we were wondering why all the tables in the bar area were being well tended to and everyone was having a good time except for us and the table behind us. My philly was ok, a bit unseasoned, and my wife's salad was not good. The lettuce was browning and wilting, not crisp at all. The server took it back and removed it from our bill. My wife was fed up and wanted to go. Tables in our area were left dirty with dishes still on them. A few booths had no table for some reason? All in all, we were there thought the first half of the game, halftime, and about 6 minutes of the second half. Nearly 2 hours! It was nuts. I've never had anything like this happen at Beef's before! I hope things improve at...
Read moreFood is hit or miss. Sometimes it doesn't take long and other times it's longer than if I drove back home and fixed it myself. I was told wings take about 18 minutes when we asked about our food during my last visit. We ordered at 35 minutes after the hour and at 17 minutes after the next hour....42 minutes later, we were still waiting on food. We were told that it was coming up. It actually took 45 minutes to receive. My bone in wings did not come with celery and when I questioned why, I was told that I had to ask for celery. My friend's bone in wings came with celery and he stated that I could have his, but he didn't ask for it and doesn't like celery. Another friend ordered his as a basket and didn't receive his fries and was told he had to order a basket. He did order the basket. I also ordered extra sauce, but received no extra sauce, but one of the orders at our table had the extra sauce and it wasn't mine. This seems to be common crazy mix ups with Beefs. I've gotten cold food, undercooked food, and ordered food where I've paid extra for things I didn't receive. Check your take out orders before you get home without sauces, condiments, etc. I am currently on a break from this location after the fiasco with my friends and my boyfriend not wanting to order another...
Read moreI had very poor service here. Our waitress left our table before we were finished ordering our appetizers. She barely made eye contact while serving our table because she was so busy talking to the people at the table beside us. It took forever for my lettuce shrimp wraps to come because the chef made them chicken, says the waitress, so they had to be remade. When they finally did come out, I asked for a togo box. All of this while my spouse is still sitting and waiting for a shot he ordered. When I got the togo box, our waitress still forgot the shot and had to be reminded. We asked for the check and we used our card. It took so long for our waitress to come get the card for us to pay that, I tried to pay at the bar. By the time I was acknowledged at the bar, the server finally came to get the card. We still left a good tip, because that's her livelihood but, I believe that my spouse and I were treated like this because I am mixed and he is of another race. It started to get busy but only after our order was already put in. However, we were the only two of our race at this point and time. Hopefully we can find another sports bar to watch our games at. Who knows, maybe if we had a different waitress our experience would have...
