5 Stars – A True Dade City Gem!

The newly remodeled Farmhouse Market & Cafe in downtown Dade City is back and better than ever! After being closed for hurricane damage repairs, Ronnie & Jenny Williams have completely transformed this local favorite into a must-visit destination.

The food is incredible — from homemade biscuits & gravy loaded with sausage, to fresh avocado toast (no packaged guac here!), and a pastry case that looks like something out of a magazine. Every bite feels crafted with care.

The coffee and drinks are just as impressive. Jenny and her talented barista team are serving up some of the best lattes, coffees, and seasonal specialties in Pasco County.

On top of the café, the air-conditioned market is a perfect one-stop shop: fresh local produce, honey, sauces, pasta, baked goods, and unique finds that make planning dinner easy and fun.

This is exactly the kind of place that makes downtown Dade City, FL special — a family-owned business that feels like home, but tastes like something out of a big-city foodie guide.

✅ Great food, amazing coffee, friendly staff, and a beautiful remodel — highly recommend checking out Farmhouse Market & Cafe for breakfast, lunch, or to stock up for dinner!

(Pro tip: Grab breakfast, then shop for dinner on your way out — the best of...

2nd visit here and we really enjoyed it! The location is great-just a couple blocks from main street and within walking distance of the historic courthouse. A nice addition to the local restaurant and shopping scene in Dade City. Walking-in we were cheerfully greeted by one of the owners, Jenny. She and her husband, Ronnie, have created a welcoming space with a farm fresh menu full of unique offerings. My husband and I own a restaurant and are very particular about what we eat and where. Cleanliness, friendly service and good food are what we look for-but seldom find all 3 in a single establishment. This place hits all 3! It is bright, and sunny inside and out (they have a charming dining/mat market/antique area outside) and they make great coffee! We tried a variety of things that all had rich flavors that lacked the chemical aftertaste common at many chain coffee establishments. We are thrilled to have a mom and pop style coffee spot to visit! Oh, and dont forget to try one of their yummy treats....My personal fave was their chocolate chip cookie! The owners are a lovely couple with a lovely place! We hope they prosper and grow and become a treasured part of their...

I used to come here all the time and love the food, beverages, market, etc. The staff has always been nice and helpful, if I had been leaving a review a year ago I would've hit 5 starts with no doubts.

That being said, I have been in a few times in the past year and I have never seen anyone- employee or costumer- wearing a mask. In the outdoor section this is less concerning because it is easy to maintain distance and well... its outside. However, the space inside is fairly small. There is no plexiglass shield separating me from the unmasked employee and most costumers were not maintained 6ft social distancing (which was not being enforced by staff either). I really wish costumers that are at risk could feel more comfortable here in the midst of a pandemic, but they sadly cannot.

Edit: I saw on someone else's post the owners said they didn't have to wear masks because they maintain 6ft social distancing at all times...however when I was ordering I could not have been more than 3 ft away from the woman behind the register while I signed the iPad... she did not give me space when I had to sign, so they actually are not maintaining...

While traveling, we found this place instead of fast food. We ordered two versions of the beef stew, one over mashed potatoes and one over rice. Both were delicious! The specialty side that day was homemade creamed corn, so good, also had turnip greens, okra and pinto beans. The service was fast and friendly with a homey atmosphere. They also sell some local honey, jams, jellies and relishes. If you are in this area it is definitely worth your while to stop in.

A hidden gem in the heart of dade city (pls keep it that way). This place has delicious surprises from a vast variety of coffees to quick bites, organic produce, meats and oh man those jim’s jazzy line of hot sauces. The owners are sweet and accommodating and the atmosphere is relaxing and high end. Enjoy! So…I typical don’t leave reviews unless I was utterly moved by my experience at an establishment. Let me start with the pecan brownie that the young lady at the counter kindly dressed with caramel for me. The best D**N brownie I’ve ever have. Now…let’s discuss the Buffalo chicken dip. Whoever made it put their whole foot in it. My all-time favorite is the fresh fruit cup with strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, grapes and mango 😘👌
