Got a pork banh mi and combination pho. Now, I love pho. I especially love phot after a night of drinking. It's fair for me to say I've had a lot of pho over the years from a lot of different places from FL to DC to MD and Jersey. Both items did not taste traditional (which I thought this spot was a traditional Vietnamese shop and didn't realize until I got there that it wasn't). My food wasn't terrible my any means but it was extremely underwhelming with no depth of flavor to the point where I'm a bit hesitant to try anything else. Somewhere in one of the reviews someone mentioned the pho tasting ready made, which I could definitely believe, and the owner responded saying they take hours making the broth. I wholeheartedly do not believe that.
I did receive a good amount of protein. I also received chili crisp oil and what seemed to sriracha, but no hoison sauce (I've never gone to a Vietnamese shop that didn't provide it) and also no chopsticks...? Lol. The banh mi was basic but good however. Flavor in the pork wasn't lacking. Nonetheless I had 3 coworkers also try their food and one (who isn't a great judge of character when it comes to food) said their beef pho was good, one was vegan and said their fried rice was not good at all, and the other ordered I forget what (I believe it was something fried) but also said it was also underwhelming and lacked serious flavor. Both of the latter shared they also had an upset stomach later that day, although the coworker and I that both had pho were fine.
All in all they have a nice and broad selection of a variety of asian foods, but maybe their recipes are more hyper focused and better improved in another area of food other than Vietnamese (which isn't exactly a good thing). I'm just a bit disappointed in spending over $20 and not being blown over as I expected because of the star ratings. I'll have to look at the reviews to see what's mostly recommended if I ever decide...

The wings were not fresh. They clearly were fried the previous day. You know how you fry wings at home and refrigerate them? Yeah, thatâs what I got. You could taste the old grease from yesterday. I figured that it was odd that I only waited ten minutes for my entire order. It takes 15 to 18 minutes to fry chicken wings. Now, Iâm a chef, but I was running an errand and wanted some Asian food. I Googled best ones near me and this place came up. Itâs a nice little quaint spot that used to be a home. I just feel if they werenât ready for business, they could have told me and I would have waited the extra time for fresh wings. But, fresh is not what I received. I received day old wings. You can smell the grease on the bones. Itâs old grease and yesterdayâs wings. Shame on your owner for selling this to me. I wonât be back and the drunken noodle was decent....

Thai tea and orange chicken has always been consistent (my kids like love it, definitely big portion)
The Pad kee mao was pretty good and big portion as well.
Iâve ordered banh mi a couple times and it doesnât hit the spot, like a typical banh mi.
The grilled beef vermicelli was just ok- itâs not the lemongrass/garlic flavor that Iâm used to in traditional vermicelli dishes. (Teriyaki sauce on the beef was definitely strange and doesnât pair well)
I definitely appreciate this being an option in oak cliff, especially when we are hungry and need to grab something on the way home.
But I would definitely stick to the Vietnamese restaurants in garland and Arlington for the traditional flavors of certain dishes ( like pho, vermicelli, banh mi, & rice plates etc. )
The food is definitely hot and fresh when grabbing to go, but hopefully they will be able to use different containers in the future (the styrofoam is...
