Benny's Bagels — Restaurant in Dallas

I've been to this place twice and the bagels are the best, I've never had better bagels anywhere BUT, the two daughters serving at the counter are BEYOND TERRIBLE. I'm sorry to be this candid but both times I've been here, they always stare with disgust, pass comments to each other and giggle continuously, while taking over 15 minutes on purpose for one bagel while I'm the only customer there. I wanted to let the family know politely since my first visit, but unfortunately they weren't there both times. TODAY was the worst of all, which makes me write my first ever review, as however bad a place or their service is, I always give them the benefit of doubt and let it pass. The place is supposedly open till 6, and I reached there at 5:30, parked my car on the opposite side for tree shade, and walked to the front door, noticing a beige van/truck right in front of the door which was turned on but parked. I reached the door, and tried opening but it was locked, and next thing I hear the vehicle abruptly reversing, where I see the two daughters looking at me and laughing hysterically as they quickly left. I don't understand how people can be so insensitive, when all they had to do was lower their window and say that they're closed. They instead chose to treat a customer who loves their food, like this. The worst part is I came today wanting to talk to the family about bulk ordering few days a week - every week for my office as I convinced them that these were the best bagels in town, but now I'll never be back. This Is the absolute weirdest place. Is this even Benny's Bagels or did it just used to be and someone is making a couple breakfast items with their own menu? First when I walked in I felt like I walked into a closet. Open sign was off. The place looks dark and run down. There are ZERO drinks on the menu. There are ZERO BAGELS on the menu. I remember Benny's Bagels from when I was a child, coming with my mom to pick out our flavored Bagels and different flavors of cream cheese. They had one flavor of cream cheese and who knows with the Bagels cuz they aren't listed!!! You're supposed to guess.

And a one ounce cup of cream cheese is THREE DOLLARS!!

she gave me 2 of them even though I asked for the smaller tub not a one ounce cup. I pointed to the smaller tubs and said I want the smaller one. So she added a dollar. The tub I wanted is supposed to be $4. Since she already charged me $3 each for 2 one ounce cups that means I just paid SEVEN dollars for a regular tub of cream cheese.

This Benny's was terrible compared to any of the others. I drive all the way to the Benny's in McKinney if I want bagels. I wanted to give this Benny's a try after finding out this one was closer to my house and stopped in one morning and the menu options were minuscule and the bagels were stale. They had maybe 6 bagel choices plus a few spreads. The place looked dirty and there were people going in and out of the back of the restaurant so the service was slow when I was the only person in there. This business is also sketchy to me because they didn't have a real credit card machine and only one of those slide ones attached to phones.
