I knew when we walked into the door I should have turned around, but I LOVE firehouse so we stayed. The employees working today were horrible, older African American lady and 2 African American men. They had a lot of kids hanging Around in the store (which later we figure is the lady’s kids) anyways . . I got the smoke house beef brisket sandwich the sandwich was luke warm some spots of the bread was cold no onions when I asked for extra onions. My gf got the Philly cheesesteak and her sandwich was half cold as well. Disappointed with this experience because it was as if the staff didn’t care it was literally a family hangout. One of the kids was checking the ice machine (as if he worked there) the workers were loud and unprofessional. They need to focus more on the food and customers orders rather than having a work hangout. One customer called cause he was missing a soda and they all laughed and joked about how he better get up and come get it because they weren’t taking it to him. They were Nonchalant when we bought the sandwiches to their attention, my gf refused another sandwich because she was annoyed and ready to go at that point. Btw. I am a African American woman this is not a racist comment, it’s real! I was so embarrassed uncomfortable and disappointed with the service today. Read moreIt's unfortunate to have to leave a 1-star review for any company and this is not something I enjoy doing. My office attempted a call in order around 11AM for delivery yesterday. Spoke with David. I asked if they deliver to our location and he said yes, but it has to be a minimum of $100. I told him my order would include 7 sandwich orders all as meals (drinks, chips). He put me on hold so he could verify if they would still deliver. He got back on the phone and said yes, we can deliver it. We gave our order to David. After giving him all 7 orders, he wouldn't take a credit card payment over the phone and said it would have to be cash. He asked what time we would like the sandwiches delivered and we told him 11:45 - 12:00 would be great. A few minutes after 12:00, still no sandwiches, so we try calling and they picked up the phone and immediately hung up. Tried calling two more times and they wouldn't answer. So we called from another phone and finally got them to answer. I asked for the status of our delivery and he told me that his boss wouldn't let him deliver it!! No call to let us know. No explanation. No apology. Nothing. I can understand a delivery minimum policy, which is why I asked if we met the minimum, but don't tell me that you will deliver my order and then just not do it!! Read moreThis location does not deserve your business, and you'll be out $30 like me. I ordered online and to my surprise my order was redirected to this location. I immediately called to see if I was able to cancel the online order because this location was 20mins further than the location originally selected. The staff member that answered the phone told me, "bro that's pretty official ordering online and I can't cancel it." After the terrible news my coworker hit the road to pick up our order. When he finally arrived to the store the employees could not find the order. They searched high and low until the same employee that answered the phone earlier appeared and said you guys said to cancel your order. (He told us it couldn't be canceled) at this time we placed our order 1 hour prior, and already 15mins past the pick up time waiting for them to locate the order the employee threw away. Contacted corporate, was told this was a franchise location and was informed that the manager would reach out to resolve. I was told they sent the owner an email. I guess we will see. They seem "pretty official bro".
