When visiting with my Mother-in-“Love” this past weekend, we had a wonderful dining experience at Speranza @18204 Preston RD in Dallas. We arrived around 6 pm and was seated promptly. Our server, Flory, was attentive, professional and an absolute pleasure. She answered all of our questions about the menu as it was our first time dining at this restaurant. She was helpful in recommending entrees and also in wine selections. I ordered the Alla Crema and my MIL had the Melanzane Parmigiana. Both were delicious and generous portions. We were served bread with dipping oil- it was warm and fresh. The restaurant quickly filled up with parties of 4, 6, 8 and 10! Our service was superb with a couple managers stopping by to see if everything was to our liking. One of the managers we spoke with at length was Guillermo who welcomed us and told us there is live music each Friday evening. My MIL lives quite close to this location and was very impressed with the meal and the service. Whenever I visit again, I will plan on us dining here again. If you are looking for authentic Italian food, in a welcoming family friendly environment with exceptional waitstaff and management, you should try Speranza Italian Restaurant- you won’t be disappointed! Enjoy. There was ample parking although we chose to ride share. This restaurant is located in The Arbors on Preston Road…other businesses nearby: Kohl’s, Tom Thumb, Anytime Fitness, the UPS store, Starbucks, the Gelato &...

What a Wonderful, delicious Italian restaurant was such good ambience and a wonderful crowd to be around with beautiful Plateware from the wood and marble to the ceramic dishes, it is wonderful. I will produce pictures for all of you to see! You need to try this restaurant if you even remotely love Italian food, it’s very authentic! This is my first visit, but I understand that on Tuesdays they have a live Italian band! the seating is beautiful from the super well upholstered booths to the very distinctly customized chairs at the table, we’ve got to come and enjoy this kind of true service good food, and wonderful atmosphere! i’m having The Frita Misto and the marinara sauce is House made and delicious and the aïoli is delicious and is served on a bed of arugula, making it even better and there are fried onions with it! Olive oil served with the bread tastes like olives, that is so wonderful and refreshing! And you have a pepper grinder, fresh ground pepper on your table, ready and waiting for you, you need not ask for it! My waitress’s name is Adirey and she goes by Adi, and beyond her great smile, she’s very attentive to my table and others tables, I’m so positive you’ll have wonderful service! I hope you take the time to come and enjoy the wide menu, great service and great ambience, very lovely with wonderfully prepared Italian food by a great chef and it is family owned, and they have been here five years and they are beyond...

We ate dinner here for my boyfriend's 27th birthday. Speranza's was recommended as a local restaurant with a solid wine list. For a Wednesday night in Far North Dallas the place was about half full around 7-7:30.

This is a low-lit romantic restaurant in an otherwise plain shopping center--there's a Tom Thumb across the parking lot. But in here we had a real candle and champagne.

Service was excellent, our server was patient and friendly. She was amused by how quickly and often we consumed the table bread--I believe we got one plate for free.

After splitting a large pile of calamari to start, I had a vegetable and chicken pasta. It was so large that I got two more meals out of it. These aren't tiny artsy portions! My boyfriend got a good-sized chunk of lasagna that even he barely finished.

We were disappointed that the 1/2 Priced Wine Wednesday deal was only for bottles. That never works for us because he likes dry reds (Tempranillo, Cab Sauv) and I like sweet whites (Riesling, Sparkling, Gewürtzaminer). So he had a glass of house red and I had a champagne.

With a good tip, our bill...

This was our first time visiting and it was awesome. The environment was intimate and the live guitarist was great. He played upbeat and smooth jams. The establishment was very clean and our server, Amai Bobbett, was amazing! We came pretty late (about an hour before closing) and was still treated and served very well as if we came during a dinner rush. The food was delicious, my hubby ordered a chicken parmigiana with alfredo sauce instead and the flavor was great and the sauce was not runny nor too thick. I ordered an off menu item (which I didn't know, just saw another person have it and it looked great) it was a Mediterranean inspired pasta dish with a rolled chicken breast stuffed with spinach and cheese over angel hair pasta with tomatoes and asparagus with balsamic vinegar and like a fire roasted red sauce. You do get bread with olive oil and garlic at the table. We enjoyed the fried calamari and the vanilla pana-cotta dessert. We will definitely return to try other menu items and to be serviced by Amai!

It was my first visit to Speranza. It’s a cute place with some holiday decor and the team wearing NYE gear. It was pretty full at 6:15 (assuming because it was NYE). The team is friendly and helpful, especially Guillermo. They seem to know quite a few of the guests which is nice. We started with some drinks and the crispy bread with olive oil. Then a great salad - arugula with walnuts, apples, and fried goat cheese. It was so good!! For entrees we tried the eggplant parmigiana and chicken parmigiana. Both served on a bed of pasta with lots of marinara sauce and cheese. The eggplant was nice and crispy. Both portions were good sized. We have tasty leftovers today. We finished our meal with a Guillermo recommendation, a chocolate martini. What a delicious drink! We enjoyed our night at Speranza and will be back to try more items (the pizza looked good).
