After eyeing this restaurant for a while. My husband and I decided to try it yesterday. We ordered the Super mix grill platter, which is the most expensive item on the menu at $45 and suitable for 2- 3 people. We figured it will be enough for the two of us. We also ordered the falefel plate for an appetizer. The appetizer was nice. You get 4 pieces of falafel for $8 on a bed of hummus. The flavor was decent but didn't taste much like a normal falafel instead more like a patato patty but regardless it was good. The mix grill platter comes with 2pc of all the grill meat choices. So between 2 people you get one piece of each variety and if there are three of you then you'll have to toss for it. :). The lamp chops were VERY moist and cooked to perfection! The lamb pieces however lacked flavor. The chicken and adana were all succulent in flavor. Now that said however I was disappointed to see the portion size of this plate. The meats come on a THIN bed of rice pilaf and a very SMALL salad. You get two tiny containers of tzatziki sauce and four little triangles of bread! Seriously!!! Rice and bread are the true fillers on this plate and there was not enough for one person!! They really need to consider adding more rice and bread to the plate. My husband and I finished it and were still hungry! We had leftover meat and nothing to eat it with. So we ordered the lehmacun and YES that was delicious! We finished off with the kunefe and tea which were both so so so good! We will definitely visit the restaurant again but this time order individual plates as that is cheaper and you end up getting a "normal" portion for one person. Oh and the staff was friendly...
Read moreThis place did not disappoint at all. We had the lentil soup at the beginning, it was very flavorful and was one of the best lentil soup i tried so far. We then got the super mix kebab platter, it was a lot of food for 2 people but I’m not going to complain about that. The chicken kebab was very tender and juicy, it was well marinated and seasoned as well. The adana kebab, beef kofte, lamb kebab and lamb chops had a perfect amount of salt and pepper and was very tender as well, it was perfectly cooked. At the end I ordered my favorite desert, kunefe and black tea. Kunefe was crispy from outside and cheese inside, it was perfect balance. The black tea was a little watered down, did not taste much like tea I make at home but kunefe really stole the show so I did not care much.
The staff was very nice and they were very quick when it came to bringing our food to the table, they even let us reserve a table and order food on the phone because we were late for iftar.
Overall, its a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts seeking authentic flavors. Whether you're craving soul-warming soups or succulent kebabs, this establishment promises a culinary journey...
Read moreMy family of 4, with 2 kiddos, tried this place for the first time and I will say that the dining room was clean, the staff was friendly and overall the food was delicious. When we got there we were the only ones in the restaurant but it picked up a little after some time. We enjoyed the decor. We ordered the Lezzet Oven Delight and Lahmacun, both of these were great. We also hao Turkish Coffee which came with a piece of Walnut Baklava, which was yummy. We also ordered kanafeh, which was not good. Some things that could have been improved upon to make my review 5 stars: 1. Clean the bathrooms. The bathroom was in horrible condition. The toilets had not been cleaned in a while and the paper towel dispenser was empty. 2. We wish they offered some type of kids menu. 3. The kanafeh could have been better. There was barely any cheese in it, and it was completely soaked in syrup and sitting in a small pool of syrup. We will eat here again, we just won't bring our kids and we will not be ordering the...
