I love Cava and feel like it’s basically a Mediterranean chipotle. I love getting all the things I love in my bowl. Also love the pita chips they sell separately (they remind me of the fried pitas at Lili’s bistro in FW).
First time I went to this location there were ants crawling on the counter that held the drop in food trays. Ugh. I was so sad. And go ahead and judge but I still ordered-I was tired and hungry and knew I wouldn’t cook at home that night. Also was pretty sure I pointed to the pita chips and said I’d like pita please. I got a cold half of a pita. When I asked them why didn’t I get the other ones, they said those are pita CHIPS and you have to pay extra for them, which I knew … I saw the sign. Came of slightly snotty. I felt like they were not happy to be working there, which I totally get! I just really appreciate good customer service. They could have easily said, let me grab you some and I’ll ring it up real quick, but I was just dismissed.
I did give them one more try. The workers were a bit friendlier. I made sure to say pita CHIPS when I ordered. Love that I could make my own Arnold Palmer and that they had Maine Root’s ginger beer (the best one available imo). Also not ants the...
Read moreI walked in and saw that I was the only customer. In the middle of me walking down the line with my requests for my bowl, the employee stopped and turned around and started moving freshly cleaned plates and putting them away where they need to go. So I stopped mid sentence and waited for him to finish. He continued and said 'I'm listening', for me to continue the order. But I was trying to point to the items I wanted to add to the bowl because I didn't know what they all were. When he did come back to continue putting my bowl together he kept stopping to look at his smart watch midway though putting my order together. It was disappointing, especially as the only customer in the restaurant. There would be plenty of time after I paid for my order to do all of the things he was doing, so I didn't really like how it made me feel so unimportant. CAVA has really good food though, I love it. I will go back to CAVA, just not this location.

Read moreI have to give recognition to Marquis*(not sure about the spelling, my apologies) and the remaining staff this evening. There was a mistake with my pickup order that I didn't notice until I made it home later. My bowl was accidentally swapped with someone elses but in my bag. I didn't realize how swamped this location gets around dinner time. But I've worked customer service roles long enough to know we're all human. I arrived back at the restaurant. I was greeted and I explained the situation. It was handled immediately without questioning or doubting me, and it was much appreciated.
