Sasa Sushi is one of those rare finds that perfectly balances quality, freshness, and atmosphere. Whether you’re a seasoned sushi enthusiast or someone just dipping their toes into Japanese cuisine, this place delivers a consistently impressive experience.
Food: The star of the show is, of course, the sushi—and Sasa Sushi does not disappoint. Their fish is incredibly fresh, with cuts that melt in your mouth. The nigiri is delicately prepared, and the rice has just the right texture and seasoning. Standouts include the toro (fatty tuna), uni (sea urchin), and their signature rolls like the Sasa Special, which combines spicy tuna, avocado, and a hint of citrus in a beautifully balanced bite.
Ambiance: The restaurant has a clean, modern Japanese aesthetic with warm lighting and minimalistic decor. It’s cozy without being cramped, making it ideal for both casual dinners and more intimate outings.
Service: The staff are attentive, polite, and knowledgeable. The sushi chefs are skilled and often willing to engage in conversation if you’re seated at the bar. Service is prompt but not rushed, allowing you to enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace.
Price: While Sasa Sushi is not the cheapest option, the prices are very fair considering the quality of ingredients and craftsmanship. It’s a great value for what you get—definitely a place to treat yourself or bring guests you want to impress.
Final Verdict: Sasa Sushi is a standout in the local dining scene. With top-notch sushi, excellent service, and a welcoming ambiance, it’s a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic...
Read moreI am writing this on behalf of my wife since she is extremely upset with the level of service and professionalism with the phone ordering process. Our daughter wanted Sushi, and we have eaten or ordered food from Sa Sa Sushi over 30 times. My wife placed an order over the phone today. She went to pickup the order, and the people who are in charge of pickup orders could not locate the order, and then asked her for the time of the phone order. My wife then showed her cell phone call records to prove that she had indeed placed an order. A lady then said that they gave the order to another customer, and asked my wife if she wanted to wait 30-40 minutes until a new order could be made. My wife said no, and left the restaurant. About an hour later, a guy by the name of David called my wife and asked her why she didn’t come to pickup the order. When my wife told David what had transpired when she came to pickup the order, David kept asking for the physical characteristics and age of the lady who interacted with my wife. He did this over five times, basically asking my wife to prove that she was physically present at the restaurant to pickup the order. After two phone calls, and escalating tension, I asked my wife to end the call. I would like to call this “a comedy of errors”, but then I would be misusing that phrase. This is a complete breakdown in logistics, organization, professionalism, and most importantly,...

I came in to order takeout. After placing my order I sat back down and I noticed a dead roach near the entrance. After letting the host person know about it I watched them do nothing in the ten minutes I was there waiting for my food. The restaurant wasn't even busy so I observed them casually hanging out near the register. They didn't seem the least bit concerned. No attempt to get rid of it nor tell anyone to take care of it.
I hate writing this review because I love this restaurant's food but I was absolutely mortified by the lack of concern this person showed. I feel like people deserve to know what kind of unhygienic environment they're possibly eating in.
I also didn't appreciate the food runner rudely repeating themselves with a scowl after I didn't hear what they said the first time. I took the food with embarrassment and quickly exited. What a lovely attitude to someone who's hard of hearing.
That's not the first time a staff person has been rude either. But I always put up with it because, like I said, I love their food. Maybe I should put my foot down this time if they can't even guarantee a clean dining experience. You'd think that'd be pretty important in an establishment that specializes in RAW food.
This is unacceptable....
