Furniture Depot — Hotel in Dallas

I was shopping around looking for a particular style of dresser for my bedroom. I had been to multiple places before going to Furniture Depot. First place said the could get one by Saturday, I decided to look around. Second place said I could purchase from them and pick up tomorrow, I decided to purchase using my debit card. Once I left the guy called me back and said that the warehouse wouldn't sell it without the mirror. I called another place and asked them to see if they could get it from the warehouse and once she called me back and told me that they told her that I would have to buy the whole 4 piece set, but I only needed the dresser. I went back to the place where I made the purchase and tried to negotiate the mirror. They guy wasn't willing to negotiate to avoid me from asking for a refund. Once we finally got past that, he calls the warehouse and now they're saying I would have to buy the entire set as well. So I go back to the first place and asked if I could make the purchase and take the floor model and they just replace it with the one I purchased when they pick it up from the warehouse. They wouldn't sell it unless I bought the whole set. Finally I go to Furniture Warehouse, show him what I wanted and had it within minutes exactly the way I wanted it. No hassle at all. I really appreciated that especially after a long day of shopping around. And they had the best price. I got what I needed and now the only thing I have to wait on his the refund from the early purchase to return...

Buyers Beware This Furniture store said they would deliver my couch the week that we bought it. I paid the full amount. When it came time for delivery they claimed it was damaged and would take 4 weeks to get the next shipment in. When I called to check on it after the time had passed Omar said they had not even placed the order yet for my couch but it should be in.. I called and spoke to the manager about getting my refund he told me no because they just ordered it and it shoyld be delivered the next day...instead of enjoying a new sofa that I paid $900 for I will be having to go to court against these people. I'm very disappointed we just bought our first house and would have loved to be sitting on...

Check your numbers and your receipts. Glenn is the sales guy we talked to and he was all good until we asked for shipping options. We asked if the items could be delivered inside because my mom doesn’t have anyone to help move her things and he assured us that would be fine. He said it would be an extra $90. The delivery guy did not deliver the items in her apartment and I never got my refund. So basically this place scammed me out of $90 shipping. Will never buy from them again. I would not recommend this place. Don’t buy from rinky dink places...I’d rather pay more for better service knowing I could get my refund in full if anything goes wrong than to buy cheap...
