I recently tried Barbari/sesame/ whole wheat bread, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. First off, the shelf life is incredibly long—over three weeks—which immediately raised my concerns about the ingredients. It feels like this bread is filled with chemicals rather than the wholesome ingredients you'd expect from a bakery product. NOT TO MENTION THE EXTREME PRICE TAG!!!!!
When I finally opened the package, I was surprised to find that the bread seemed undercooked. The texture was more doughy than fluffy, lacking the crispness and lightness that freshly baked bread should have. It felt like I was biting into raw dough rather than a properly baked loaf.
The flavor was equally unremarkable, overshadowed by the artificial taste that often accompanies overly processed foods. Instead of the warm, comforting taste of homemade bread, I got a bland, almost rubbery experience.
