Update: It is really disappointing how Dickey's responded with this generic reply instead of addressing the issues I brought up. They are proving my point that Dickey's has just become another poorly managed chain restaurant. When is something that is defined as "homemade" not homemade? When in comes in a package that says Monarch Ranch and is obviously something that was made far away in a factory - no home involved. I hate that Dickey's has fallen so far - I have been eating their brisket since they were family owned and the family was behind the counter. Now I paid almost $20 for a sandwich combo that should have been called a slider. Two small pieces of meat that even though I asked for sliced thin and lean, was mostly fat. I guess you could say they did slice it think though -there wasn't much to those two meager slices on my sandwich. I asked for sauce on the side which seemed to really annoy them. Since I was getting ready to get on a plane, that seemed like a better option. After he poured out a thimble's worth of sauce, and I asked for more he seemed really annoyed, and after they bagged my order they didn't put any sauce in the bag. I guess they showed me! I know the Dickey's yellow cup is a branding item, but what a landfill filler! So much waste for no reason. I used to look forward to getting a Dickeys Ham and Cheese omelet before I boarded my flight, but those are gone too. Time to start bringing my own food - at least then I will have homemade ranch and my sauce will be in the bag.

I traveled to Dallas Love Field Airport for a recent business trip and found myself starving upon arrival. I made my way to the food court to examine my options. I stumbled upon a barbecue restaurant called Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. I ended up ordering a pork rib plate with green beans and macaroni & cheese with a big yellow cup of sweet tea. The ribs were tasted great and were very tender. The green beans have bacon in them so you know they are jam packed with flavor and the macaroni & cheese was good too. Your big yellow cup will, also, serve as a souvenir when you finish your drink. They, also, give you a piece of Texas toast with your meal. My only opportunity for them to improve would be for them to add butter to the Texas toast before roasting it. It didn’t taste like it had any butter on it when I took a bite. Other than that, the meal was great. They, also, prepared it quickly which I appreciated after a 3 hour flight. Be sure to check them out if you find yourself famished at Dallas Love Field airport.

Review of Bar. Shiner Bock for $18: $4 for the beer and a $14 “Premium Beer” talk upcharge for a tall size that wasn't talk that she didn’t ask for. I ordered a Pinot of 6666 Amber Lager and was charged for "a tall" for $14, without being told. Food was good and service at the bar was good, minus the up sizing without consent. I didn't have time to dispute the charge because we were running late for a connecting flight. Dickey's customer service said they would look into it. Not sure if they will follow through. This is upselling without consent and a lack of pricing transparency, and it significantly increased our bill by at least $20. The loaded baked potato and pulled pork sandwich were great and fairly priced, but the surprise drink charges pushed our total to $73 with tip. If you drink here, not only do you need to ask for drink prices before ordering but you also need to confirm the price and size after receiving.

We went to the dickies before our flight at the Dallas love field airport ! Two of the three employees were so rude. The guy that took my money was very nice. There was another young guy and then there was another older guy that took the order. Usually, there's a sign above that says order, but it was on the glass with a bunch of other stuff and it was hard to see at first and I asked the guy is this where I order he said yes. Doesn't say hello doesn't ask me what I want. I have to say well do you want to take my order? I finished with my order and this younger kid ,I ask him what's in the potato casserole. He very rudely says we're out of it. I said are you out of everything he said No we have everything else , all while having a very rude tone in his voice. I was glad after too rude employees the last guy who took my money was actually nice. I wish I had gotten their names. This was on June 1 about 4:30 PM. my friend orders were waiting. I'm waiting for her and my food. The guy that took our orders, said some thing and she thought he was talking to her and she said I'm sorry. Excuse me I didn't hear you. Very rudely he says I wasn't talking to you. Well a guy came up behind her and neither one of us saw the guy and just the way he said it was so rude. He could've said. I'm sorry I was talking to the guy behind you. I will never go there again. She will never go there again. I can't believe that someone can be working and treat people like that. I don't care if other people are rude to them or what goes on ,then they need another job. We were not rude to them. We were very nice to them and we also we're going to leave them a very big tip but since they were so rude, we left them nothing .I think their manager should know and maybe send in person that they don't know and do a few mystery shops !! They really should not be working there !!! And also, they say they have Texas toast, which I'm very familiar with and we got a hamburger bun cut in half that is not...

I will NEVER order from this DIckey's again! I work for a prestigious company and I called in a FULL 24 hrs ahead to place order for lunch. The guy I spoke to assured me that the order was placed and he even took down the credit card for payment. Come the next day when the big lunch is supposed to happen, NO LUNCH FROM DICKEY'S. Not a single call or anything. So I call them to find out why I haven't received an update on my delivery. The manager, Robert, acted so nonchalant and said he never received an order via phone. He then proceeds to ask me who I spoke to like I would remember. If I'd known this would happen, I would've gotten the guy's name and address lol. Roger, the "manager" was of ZERO help. He kept beating around the bush. He gave no suggestions on how to accommodate me even after I verified, via call log, that i did call in to place an order. This was the most FRUSTRATING experience. Lunch was cancelled because the employees at this joint couldn't place an order. What made my experience beyond infuriating was the fact that there was no other person I could talk to that was willing to help. Robert was ignoring me by helping other customers while I was still on the phone expressing my disappointment. VERY DISTATEFUL and UNPROFESSIONAL. I will be staying clear of this place. They just lost a big...
