Great staff, horrible manager. Jack n Box district manager failed this location with a horrible manager, I'm sure the staff would agree. I ordered a combo for my daughter, and a small coke for me. I got a completely blank receipt, I accepted thinking it wouldn't matter. I got home realizing we did not get my small coke, no big deal, I'll just return for it on my way out again. Only for the Jack n Box manager to accuse me of trying to scam a small coke. I could not believe it. I explained everything. My daughter heard my order as I ordered it. He called me a liar and said I was cheap for returning for a small coke. I was thirsty man. Who's being petty, all this drama for a small coke and accusing a regular customer of being a liar. My daughter likes to go there every other day after school and she is negatively affected about the incident. I explained I was being honest, but the manager (Abel), but he persisted in calling me a cheap liar and denied me my drink and told me to leave. He did not want to even think that he could be wrong. I could not believe Jack n Box would make such a big deal over a small coke and then to take it as far as calling me a cheap person and a liar. I grew up in this neighborhood, 45 years a customer of Jack n Box. Added up I spend hundreds of dollars a year at Jack n Box. I have never been called a cheap liar dining at Jack n Box, the manager told me to leave and did not want to hear me. If I was a scammer or trickster, that's not the way to handle it. The worst part is I was not trying to cheat Jack n Box out of a small coke. I never insulted him, I never cursed and all I asked for was some quality customer service. Instead I was called a cheap liar by Jack n Box management. I insisted that he get more training. I could tell his staff was relieved that someone is actually going to report a problem about their manager's temperament and his poor management skills. He is definitely not management material. He could care less about customer experience. I'm OK with poor management skills, but a manager with a horrible and arrogant character is the worst. This incident happened about 5:10 pm, 5/20/2019. Like I said the receipt was just a blank piece of paper, but the manager would not admit to it. I don't even know if they even charged me for the drink, I just know I ordered it and did not receive it, my daughter was with me and heard our order repeated to us. What so hard with believing in the best intentions of a customer, especially when asking nicely. The manager didn't even notice that we were frequent customers at this Jack n Box (not anymore), I recommend the Jack n Box on Inwood and Cedar Springs,...
Read moreThey are not open 24 hours like the sign says that's posted in the window listing their hours of operation. I've been to this location several times and they are not Customer friendly. They have never thanked me for my business, never asked me to repeat my visit, and seem to always practically throw my order out the drive-thru window and slam it shut without saying anything to me other than how much it cost. You should greet the customer when you open the window and the take their payment and once you giver them their order you should thank them for their business and ask them for repeat business and say good bye. Maybe it's just me they are unfriendly to?
(Updsted: March 16, 2017) I had to come back and change my rating after a visit to this restaurant on today. I never thought the service could get any worse, but I will never go back to this place again. Somebody in corporate should really look into doing something about this store. Needless to say, but I will avoid going to this location ever again. They really need to put management in this store that cares about something more than merely collecting a check. At this point there's no hope for this store and I would advise anybody reading this review to avoid...
Read moreWent to get dinner for some friends on Saturday night 06/06/15 at around 11:00 PM. It took about 30 minutes to place our order and get to the window after we got in line. That's something I'm used to with Saturday night fast food runs. The kicker was once we got to the window and paid at about 11:30 PM, we were told to circle back around through the drive through because our food wasn't ready. WHAT? Everyone in front of us got their food and everyone in the line after we circled back around got their food, as well. We waited in line for ANOTHER HOUR until we got our food at about 12:30 AM on 06/07/15. Our order was accurate, but our fries were cold and the smoothie we ordered was melted. This was the WORST experience I've had at a restaurant, fast food or sit down, not to mention the worst experience I've had at a Jack in the Box, arguably one of my favorite fast food places.
Now, I don't live in Dallas (I'm from San Antonio and was visiting for a convention), but this essentially ruined my night, as everyone was asleep by the time we got back to the hotel, and this was my last night with people I haven't seen in almost five years. Thanks for making an already lackluster weekend a...
