I went to the location on Davis near Polk St. and I asked for a Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger, chocolate overload cake, and Dr. Pepper and my friend ordered a breakfast sandwich combo w/o any meat, with a hash brown and orange juice. We paid and when the order was brought to us, I checked the bag and it was the BOX marked Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger, so I didn't think I needed to actually look in the box. She forgot or O.J. so she comes back, we told her, she gave it to us, we left. We get to our destination, take the stuff out of the bag, no hash browns, and no bacon on my burger. I called up there but got no answer, so we drove back up there, went back through the drive through, told the girl and she said and I quote, "oh I'm so sorry, I wasn't here yet but drive on up and I'll make it right" we pulled up, gave her the receipt and guess what, IT WAS THE SAME GIRL!! She gave us the hash brown, asked for the burger back and said she would have them make a fresh one. She brought it back really quick and made it a point to tell us that they made it fresh if I wanted to check it. IT WAS THE SAME BURGER, with bacon stuck on there and it was cold! She said well they told me they just made it. I said no it's cold and it's the same burger. She asked for it back and I then said "NO, I'll keep it and you'll make me another one." She then said, "you want me to charge you for another one?" I said we had to drive all the way back up here, you tried to fake me out, I'll hang on to it until I get a fresh one! She finally brought the fresh burger and still asked for the mistake back and I told my friend...
Read morewalked in and stood at the counter for 10 min waiting for someone to serve me. I finally yelled to get the cashiers attention at the drive thru. She looked at me and kept going on her way. Next time she passed I yelled again and she said the only register open was the drive thru so I have to go thru that to order.
So I asked why there was no sign. She shrugged and walked away. I asked if she was really going to make me get in my car to order in the drive thru so I could eat inside. No response.
I got in my truck and went thru the drive to order. Confronted her again when I paid why she didn’t just ring me up on her register if the front one was not on...
By the look on her face I could clearly tell the idea never occurred to her. “Oh sorry” is what I got.
Incredibly sad that a customer service staff could not figure it out. This epitomizes the difference between an order taker and a customer service employee. They should create a completely different category for restaurants like this bc it’s an oxymoron to consider this location part of the Hospitality Industry. I would have gotten better results from a...
Read moreNot sure how this Jack still open??? Back in 2015 or so the owner contacted me about my awful experienced I had in one of his restaurants. I told him. It's not the free burger next time or "we'll make it right next time" it's the fact that we pay for a service and expect good/average meal. Instead I get a few refried fries, crumbs in the bottom, sometimes not enough lettuce, chicken not "fresh" but refried or over fried. Sometimes they forget to include the whole order. And to top it off.... Most of the time who ever takes the order makes it seemed like they are doing us a favor. Or will ask for free food or something. Attitude, not politely, and 90% of the time they never say thanks. Either the investors, or franchisees get it together and pay them more. With less item menus. Like in n out. Or they will be next. Just like toys r us or sears to name a few. It's night and day difference if you go by a Jack in Prosper, Frisco, up north. Totally different experience. So for now. No more Jack in the box a...
