I love this park but it's constantly trashed. Garbage everywhere, especially floating in the pond. Sad to see the water fowl and turtles swimming around in human refuse. I picked up cans and bottles off the ground that had been dropped 5 feet from a trash can.
Empty liquor bottles everywhere indicate what people are doing in the park at night. Honestly if you're going to be a public lush you could at least throw away your litter.
Huge noisy rude families doing exactly what the signs say not to do: feed the ducks. Watched one family throw their plastic bread bags straight into the water.
The renovations to the Japanese garden were scheduled to be finished by Fall 2022 but the park is still halfway deconstructed and full of ugly orange construction fences, with no signs indicating when we can expect this to be finished.

This park has everything, a lake, walking trails, a kids' playground, a basketball court, a baseball field, tennis courts, and plenty of picnic tables and seating park seating.
