We were looking for a place to play pickleball outside but it was so windy outside that we had to find an indoor area close to where we were staying.  Just $5 per person allowed us to use the facility for the day.  Pickleball started at 9am and we played until 11:30am.  So many nice and wonderful people (working and using the facility).  I can't speak to any other of the programs because only used the gym area. The facility was so clean and well taken care of.  Easy to find but parking is limited....that's the only downfall.

One of my favorite Oak Cliff parks!! Touring with "Friends of Oak Cliff Parks" today, to review new upgrades in the Japanese Garden portion, currently in progress. They include improved ADA accommodations, lovely new entry gates, paved paths, sturdy bridges and new path lighting (modeled after pagoda lighting). Adding a photo of an antique pagoda in the park. Free admission to the park itself. Also, the aquatic center was redone a few years ago and has a reasonable modest admission price when open in the summer.

I love this park but it's constantly trashed. Garbage everywhere, especially floating in the pond. Sad to see the water fowl and turtles swimming around in human refuse. I picked up cans and bottles off the ground that had been dropped 5 feet from a trash can.

Empty liquor bottles everywhere indicate what people are doing in the park at night. Honestly if you're going to be a public lush you could at least throw away your litter.

Huge noisy rude families doing exactly what the signs say not to do: feed the ducks. Watched one family throw their plastic bread bags straight into the water.

The renovations to the Japanese garden were scheduled to be finished by Fall 2022 but the park is still halfway deconstructed and full of ugly orange construction fences, with no signs indicating when we can expect this to be finished.

Overall this park needs people to monitor it and clean it up and just generally be sure people are using the space respectfully. Then it could be really great. For now...

Kidd Spring Park comes to mind when I think about what a complete neighborhood park should look and feel like. This park has everything, a lake, walking trails, a kids' playground, a basketball court, a baseball field, tennis courts, and plenty of picnic tables and seating park seating. Oh, and I forgot to mention that it has a rec center and aquatic center with pool slides.

I found that Kidd Spring Park is a beautiful place to bring the kids. It also has the amenities to have a relaxing lunch with friends. If you are looking for a place to relax and meditate, you can grab a seat along the lake or read a book in the Japanese garden. There is something for everyone.

Although Kidd spring park is better gear for walking or a light jog, this is not the park for you if you want a more intense run or cycling.

This is one of Dallas's...

It is so much fun because in the front there is a double payground one for the babies and another one for the older kids but you can use both. If you follow a path it would lead you to the back were there is a Lake and some ducks will be swiming and something fun is that you can feed them. Around that área there is a tennis area you can play tennis or soccer also there is a sand area where you can build sandcastles. There is also a pool were you can come in the summer with your family but that is your choice and you can also pay for taking swimming lessons. The other amazing thing is that there is gym were you can work out. The last amazing thing there is is that there's a grill where you can have a cookout with your whole family and there's also a playground where you can play but there...
