I had a very unprofessional experience at this JuiceLand. When I walked in, I asked if they had a restroom. The young man either supervisor or manager told me no, but said I could use the one next door at Jersey Mike’s. I told him I wanted to order a Wild Child smoothie and asked if I should pay before or after. I specifically said I did not want my smoothie prepared until I returned from the restroom, and both the manager and the young lady working told me multiple times they would wait until I came back to make it.
As I was paying, I noticed the young lady already starting to put ingredients in the blender. I asked if that was for my smoothie, and she said yes. I reminded her that both she and the manager told me they would not make it until I came back. She looked me in the eye and assured me she would stop and wait. I thanked her and left to use the restroom next door.
When I returned, two customers were in the store still waiting to order. The manager immediately tried to hand me a smoothie that had already been made. I told him directly, “This is not what we agreed upon. You said you would wait until I returned to make my smoothie.” Instead of honoring that, he gave excuses and became combative. I asked him to either remake the smoothie fresh as promised, or issue me a refund. He refused to do either.
The other customers waiting even decided to leave, saying the staff should have honored what they told me. In the end, I left with no refund and no smoothie. This was unprofessional, dishonest, and terrible customer service. If you tell a customer you will wait to make their order, you should honor your word. I will not be returning to this location. He got flustered and threatened to call security. I decided to go ahead and leave . But I will never return to this location again.
