Mattress Firm Knox — Hotel in Dallas

Excellent experience! Buying a new bed has previously been a difficult process for me, it was much easier this time.  I’m one of those people with awkward pressure sensitive areas and having a mattress that properly supports me is essential if I want a good night’s sleep.

I have some spinal issues also, so I tend to go for a firmer mattress.  This weekend we went shopping for two beds, we first went to Sleep Experts, then to Mattress Firm and then two other stores … there are 4 different bed stores all within 2 blocks of each other.  We found out that these stores were under the same Mattress Firm ownership.  However, there are beds (models/brands) at the Sleep Experts store that were not at the other stores.  It turns out that Sleep Experts can sell any of the beds from Mattress Firm at the same price, but Mattress Firm cannot sell many of the beds featured at Sleep Experts. We decided to shop at Sleep Experts.

There was an obvious “upgrade” in both the quality of many of the beds at Sleep Experts and there was also a HUGE difference in the way we were treated – not rushed, not hard sell.  As it turns out, the manager helped us, his name is George Beradze.  He asked several questions and made very specific suggestions to get us to focus on the right choices.  More importantly he answered all our questions in a way that we could clearly understand.  We were also introduced to a semi-automated diagnostics system and decided to give it a try - ironically it came up with the same “go to” suggestions that George previous provided.

After we were able to determine which products provided the proper firmness, we thought it was simply a matter of comparing price and warrantee options – and that’s when George brought up the most important word – comfort.  I was initially shopping for the ‘mechanics’ of what my body needs for a good night sleep, but because I believed my requirements were so specific to a certain firmness, I figured I would just have be satisfied with the comfort level that comes with the mattress.   George started explaining how the beds can provide both comfort and firm support (for people needing a firm mattress).  I ended up getting a Dormeo mattress based on the firmness AND comfort – believe me, appears for people who need a firm mattress, you can get both firm support and soft comfort.

Only time will tell if this is a good selection, but I know that if it does not prove to be a good fit, Sleep Experts will work with me – I’m not cornered into this mattress.  I highly recommend this store and specifically suggest that you ask for George, he literally understands mattresses inside and out and will help you navigate through...

We visited Sleep Experts and met Cliff. He was the only salesman on the floor. Somehow he managed to give everyone personal attention and we felt very taken care of. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable- and you should know my husband and I hate salesman. If we could buy a used mattress we would because we avoid commissioned sales. However with Cliff I NEVER felt pressured, I never felt as though we were a commission to be made. I felt as though he was there to make sure that we found the right mattress we were going to love. He was patient, listened to what we were needing, and answered every question we had. I cannot say enough nice things about him. We received our mattress last week and our order was perfect. In fact I think we are going to go back and upgrade our son. And you better believe I am going to this store and I am asking for Cliff. I hope if you shop at Sleep Experts you receive the same treatment we did. Onto reviewing the store: We used their answer 20 questions and lay on a mattress system - but I am a skeptic so I am not sure I really believe that it works, but doesn't hurt! We shopped at Mattress Firm & Sleep Experts. We purchased my youngest son's mattress at Mattress Firm when he moved out of his crib. The experience was fine, no complaints. I learned that Sleep Experts and Mattress Firm are the exact same company. They were even running the same specials when we shopped this time around. Hands Down (I will always still price check) I will shop at Sleep Experts. The store is sooo much nicer. Mattress Firm felt like a discount warehouse but the prices were the same. The salesman at Mattress Firm didn't even get up from his desk. In fact he even said to me, "I've already sold a mattress today" as if he didn't care whether or not I made a purchase! Granted it was the end of the day and I get that people are tired but we weren't shopping for a mattress, we were buying a mattress. If he had been a better salesman we might have purchased from him and he could have sold two mattresses that day. I purchased a queen Tempur-Luxe Adapt Soft today at your Sleep Experts Knox store. This location was great because of the many beds of varying styles and price points to try out and lay on. John, your associate, made my buying process smooth and I feel great about my decision. John was professional, polite, and very knowledgeable about your industry. He was able to listen to what I thought I might want and ask the right questions to guide me to different beds to test out and compare. John was also patient and allowed me to come to my own decisions with guidance, but not pressure. I also valued his opinion and felt his main goal was to sell me the bed that I would get the most personal comfort from and be happiest with, if I chose to buy a mattress. I was able to utilize your 0% interest (which is great) and your discount for military veterans. I am a Combat Veteran who served in Iraq and I can tell you that the military Veteran community is tight knit (there are over 12 million of us, in the US) and we talk about businesses that treat veterans well and show us appreciation. We appreciate you, and people and businesses like you, for your support and respect. The whole process went much smoother than I had anticipated, and I can say I'm highly satisfied, thus far, with my experience with Mattress Firm. I would hope a supervisor would let John know he is doing an outstanding job, and that his character, and the fact he was very personable put me at ease. He is certainly a good asset and stewardship for your company. I will give Mattress Firm and John fist shot in 2 or 3 years when I get a new King Bed and need a top of the line mattress. The queen will go to a guest room for any lucky overnight guest to get to sleep in luxury. Great customer service, quality product, and fair/good pricing (really good on some deals) goes a long way.
