Louisiana Fried Chicken & Seafood — Restaurant in Dallas

The Chicken is good but the service is bad. Long wait time and they never answer, if you want to place a pick up order. I called to place an order and was put on hold for 5 minutes,I hung up and called back. I was placed on hold again but they did not mute the phone so I could hear them the whole time chatting and not ever taking my order. I drove to them while on hold hoping they would pick up and take my order to save time but that never happened. I arrived and decided to go to the drive thru to avoid going inside due to covid and it being a hotspot East Dallas. Well I remained on hold while listening to the employees do nothing and chat. 20 minutes later I'm at the window getting my food and still on hold,I can literally see the girl talking and leaning on the counter while on HER phone. I was so annoyed but stayed on hold for over 1 hour. Management team needs to train the crew to properly take phone calls and avoid losing return business and money. The place is also rundown and falling apart. Fix it because I do like the fried Chicken i dont need yall to...

I want to give 5 stars, but the service time is horrendous. It's pointless to use the drive thru. I came here for lunch a couple of days ago in the drive thru around 1, where at the speaker box they told me to come in because they were too busy to take drive thru orders. I left and ate somewhere else.

I took lunch earlier today to get there just before noon before most people arrived, it wasn't busy yet. Instead of taking my order at the speaker of the drive thru they asked me to pull to the window where a customer was already waiting for their order. They took my order and asked me to park up front, which isn't a big deal I've had places do that before. 20 minutes later I went inside to an empty lobby. It was obvious they had forgotten about me.

Could not ask for more freshly prepared and best tasting food. The fish is to die for. The only thing that I found really wrong with this place was that when I asked for a to go plate for the left overs, I was offered a brown bag. Well as you know, fried food tend to be greesy, so I asked for a clam shell to go container and was charged $1 for it! Needless to say, even thou they have great food and spending $38 to feed 2 people and tipped the girl the $2 change, to be charged for a to go thing really blew my mind. Chances of me going back anytime soon are not looking good. Mind you, its not the $1, its the fact that I was charged. Used to be a once every 2 wees place to eat. No more.
