I gave it an overall 3 stars. Service was a 4, food was a 4, atmosphere was a 3 because it was a bit dirty, and the description of the dish and initial interaction about receiving it was a 1 star. I ordered the spaghetti and meatball. Emphasis on the non plural meatball. It is my fault I paid $26 for a dish that I wasn’t fully aware would only come with a lone meatball. I mean, it does say meatball, right? But the fact that it’s not transparent outside of the name, that is a bit misleading. Who seriously thinks they are getting one meatball with their dish? I wonder how many people are initially pissed there’s only one meatball but don’t say anything. While it’s a good sized one, equal to maybe two regular meatballs, no person expects to have a very expensive plate of noodles with one meatball. Regardless, when the dish was put in front of me, I immediately told the waitress that was unacceptable. I rarely if ever do anything like that! I was honestly shocked. Possibly gasped. I wanted a second meatball, especially to feel like I got my $26 worth. It was actually pretty pathetic, being dwarfed by all the noodles. She complied and took my dish back. A manager then came out with it. He asked the issue and I told him that I never complain (he probably was like “yea right buddy”) but the fact I was paying $26 for noodles and meatball was crazy. He said they couldn’t add another meatball so I told him to just leave it. I was visibly upset. At that point I was already set to rail on this place with 1 stars in every category. I feel like he picked up that I was not happy. A few minutes later he brought out an extra meatball. For that, I say thank you good sir! Your actions saved the ratings… but I’ll be honest, I was scared to eat it 😂. “We’ve got a complainer at table 10!” So back to the rating. The service was good, everyone was nice, but buyer beware. When it says spaghetti and “meatball” not plural, it’s literally a meatball. It’s a decent sized one, but it’s not anywhere near $26 worth.

It’s the location in the Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL). I loved the food in Maggiano’s but there is only small selection on the menu, as it’s in the airport. I first recommended the Spaghetti & Meatball with the choice of marinara or meat sauce. I ordered the same dish for several times; however, I felt the quality and presentation were not quite consistent. I added the pictures of the same dish from time to time to this review. It’s not hard to see that sometimes the meat sauce is thick (which is what I like) and sometimes it’s watery. The meatball size also shrank obviously at one time. The spaghetti with meatball was delicious and I like to eat in here when traveling through DAL, but I hope I can receive the dish with the good and consistent quality. The environment was clean and good to stay and enjoy the food. Sometimes, the restaurant is crowded; the crew members and the manager are busy, so no one at the front desk to take the guests for seating. There will be a short line at the entrance. If there is the seat at the bar, you may just go ahead and have the seat; the bartender will take care of you. Or you can check the “Carry Out” area to see if something you like to quickly grab and go. I tried the Spaghetti & Meatball and Taylor Street Baked Ziti from the Carry Out before; they tasted good and just like serving right from the kitchen. That is a great option when catching the flight. The crew members and the manager were friendly. There was one time I changed my dine-in order into the take-out order in order to catch the flight. The manager told the kitchen to expedite my order immediately and kept his eyes on my order to make sure I got it quickly. He was really helping.

This one was located inside the Dallas Love Field Airport. We were hungry and we did not want fast food so we came here. It a small version of a Maggiano’s. But they weren’t crowded and there was no wait when we came. The service was exceptional! The host and and our waitress Camille were really very nice and friendly. We ordered right away, as I said we were hungry. There’s not to many choices on the menu (maybe be issue it’s the airport)? So opted for pasted. We got spaghetti and meatballs and fettuccine Alfredo pasta with chicken. The food came right away. The servings were huge as we were told so we shared the Alfredo. It was more than enough. The food was ok. It came warm not hot. My pasta was swimming in Alfredo Sauce (see picture for reference). I thought it was a bit watery. I prefer the sauce a bit thicker than it was. My niece loved her spaghetti. One thing we really loved though was the bread served with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. That bread was hot off the oven. We had two servings. That was all we ordered. The whole experience was ok. The ambiance: looked somewhat of an Italian restaurant. It was loud as we were in the airport. Don’t remember hearing background music. But it was ok. I’d give this a 3.5 stars.
