McDonald's — Restaurant in Dallas

It is a McDonalds. I’ve looked at some of the reviews posted and, sure...they don’t appear too appetizing. However, I dare to ask: When has ANYONE EVER received food from a McDonalds (or ANYWHERE for that matter) where the item even closely resembles the advertising? A: Never. Because advertising is a sham.

So...that said: it’s a McDonalds. It’s definitely not the worst one I’ve been to. And, I cannot pin point which has been “the best,” as the general idea of a mega-chain fast food corporation is to provide CONSISTENCY.

Upon reading a cross-section of reviews from ANY randomly chosen 100 locations, one will see precisely that— CONSISTENCY.

So, to those who complain that “they don’t care,” I say... BINGO! You’re correct! They, in fact, DO NOT CARE. Why? Because you WILL KEEP RETURNING to one location or another; if “YOU” do not, so long as ONE other person DOES, then “YOU” will not be missed! It’s a CORPORATE FAST FOOD CHAIN. Expectations need to be taken down a notch or three...

Update Aug 2025: fries aren't frying anymore. They aren't cooked how they should and not the right amount of salt. McDonald's is supposed to have the best fries on the block and they haven't as of late.

Update Nov. 2023: Came to get dinner I asked for 2 triple cheeseburgers with only ketchup and pickles. I make it home didn't even get out the car yet and I smell onions. So I bring it back and ask that they give me what I asked for. I wait for some minutes and I get my bag I get in the car and they just plain burgers with no cheese. And while I was waiting there was a roach crawling around in the pickup box they have here now.

For calling only. Whats the point in having a phone number if you're not gunna answer??? Its not even busy at this time of hour. So what gives??? I've call 30+ times and no one is answering. I don't have a car so I order out, I'm just about to go up there myself to get my BBQ sauce cause they always forget to put it in the bag. It's the first thing that should go in there if you order...

My last visit gave me some pause. I went to the front counter and no one greeted me. It took about 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. I happened to notice their was a meeting of some kind being held in the play land. I placed my order and the burger was slapped on and messy. There was a guy who brought a pitbull inside the establishment. I got up to get a drink and the dog was coming towards me. I did not see a service dog vest or tags on the dog. The workers kept arguing with him that he needs to take dog outside that he is not allowed in there.

This establishment needs to work on better customer service, presentation of their food that they send out. Accuracy to the orders. I also know the freshness and quality needs improvement. One time when I went their I asked them to not put no salt on my fries and what they did was put fries back in oil after being in the hopper. That is not fresh. I have been a long...
