If you ain’t been to Miriam Cocina Latina - Coppell yet, you’re seriously missin’ out! 🔥🌮
This spot is servin’ up some of the best Mexican food in town with killer flavors and a chill vibe.
I had the 4 AMIGOS TACOS ($23) – short rib, smoked chicken, pork with poblano & onion, and shrimp. Every single one was packed with flavor, and those flour tortillas were soft and fresh 🤤. No complaints here!
My friend got the ENCHILADAS MAR Y TIERRA ($23) – one smoked chicken with mole poblano, one steak with guajillo sauce, and one shrimp with poblano cream & spicy aioli. Sauces were 🔥, but she said the meat was a little tough, so she wouldn’t reorder 🤷🏽♂️.
My wife had the COMBINACIONES #5 ($18) – a chicken mole enchilada and a slow-cooked beef short rib taco, plus red rice & black beans. That mole was rich, deep, and straight-up abuelita-approved 👌🏽😋.
We also ordered the MIRIAM’S SAMPLER PLATTER ($28), which came with 2 camarones de Tito, 4 bolitas de yuca (crispy yuca fritters stuffed with mozzarella), 2 empanadas, and 2 steak piratas. The empanadas were solid, and our server put us on to the DUO, which includes both guacamole and queso—basically a bunch of different appetizers rolled into one convenient plate at an economical price. It’s the perfect option if you wanna sample a little bit of everything without spending a fortune. And let me tell you, that queso was beyond amazing—smooth, rich, and packed with flavor. Definitely a must-order if you stop by! 🧀🔥
Now, let’s talk about that patio—spacious, great outdoor seating, and a beautiful lake view 🌅. If you’re tryna kick back, enjoy the breeze, and eat some bomb food, this is the spot. Service was great, food was legit, and the vibes were just right.
💯 Would I come back?...

We’ve been longtime fans of Miriam’s Cocina Latina in Dallas, so on our first visit to the new Coppell location, we were excited to see if it lived up to the original — and let me tell you, it absolutely does!
From the moment we walked in, Miriam herself was on site, welcoming and gracious as ever. She surprised us with some appetizers and drinks that set the tone for an amazing night — thank you, Miriam!
The yucca frita balls stuffed with cheese were out of this world — crispy on the outside, melty on the inside, and packed with flavor. The green queso with guac and chips was the perfect starter combo — creamy, rich, and addictive.
Now let’s talk about the Red Snapper. I’ve had it many times at the Dallas location, and I had to order it again here. It’s fried to absolute perfection — crispy skin, tender inside, perfectly cooked, and a portion size that could easily feed two or three (though I gladly finished it myself — it’s that good!). If you’re like me and prefer cilantro rice over coconut rice, that swap with the vegetables takes the dish to another level. And if you’re someone who likes their food ultra-salty, just know — this fish is naturally seasoned to let the ocean-fresh flavor shine. It’s honestly like catching and frying it yourself — that fresh!
The drinks, the atmosphere, the presentation, the service — all top-notch. Just like Dallas, the Coppell location is a gem, and we’re so glad to have another go-to spot.
Thank you again, Miriam, for your hospitality and consistency. Can’t...
Read moreI've visited the first Miriams in Dallas has always been 5 star service all across. Since starting a new position close to this new location just 5 minutes away I decided to start eating here for lunch at least once a week. The ceviche was delicious just as the other location. Tried a lunch special at a later time and also good as well as the service. This time was different I wanted to try a full entre, the coconut salmon, sounded delicious yet im such a food critic that I wanted to taste without the sauce to taste for the quality and to ensure it would properly cooked well done with moist with the right amount of char, salt pepper and butter or oil....to my surprise it did not taste fresh a bit under cooked. I ordered a glass of pineapple fresh water which dont have refill and do mine are not cheap at all. Again when the food, service and atmosphere are all on point are all on point you don't even notice the cost of things. This time was different the rice portion ration to salmon was almost 3 times. The vigies on top where not all dente and the rice had little to no flavor and a bit dry. To top it off it was past lunch rush and my order still took a bit to come out and unless I asked for another water, not free refill, It would not have been offered. I've had the pleasure of meeting the head chef herself at the Dallas location on my one of many times I visited when I used to office close by and this visit does her no justice. Im sure it will improve as...
