As a former Moe’s employee from Atlanta my family and I decided to stop at the Moe’s at Dallas Love field before our flight home yesterday for old times sake. We got up to the counter to order. My daughter is a pretty picky eater so she ordered a regular size quesadilla and asked to have steak on it. The employee working advised that they were out of steak, she was unsure if she would like the chicken or not so she asked to have it on the side, the employee advised that it would cost extra to have the meat on the side(so you basically pay double for the meat because you don’t want it on the entree which is ridiculous in my opinion) I was up next to order, I was looking forward to having steak in my burrito bowl as well but I was sadly disappointed and settled for ground beef, the burrito bowl is supposed to include guacamole however I was still charged extra for the guacamole on my bowl. My husband attempted to order nachos his order could not be made as the employees were all advising that they were out of chips, although we could see 4 full bins of chips in the back of the store while we were waiting in line. Overall this was a very poor experience. I would advise others to ask before you order because chances are that you will not get what you would like to order here. I would also advise that you check your receipt before you leave because the employees will over-charge for things you did not even get. Spent $40 on a meal for 3 and left very disappointed because we could not even get what we went there to order. Next time I will take my money to a restaurant with employees who are motivated to actually serve their customers not just tell them they are out of everything so that they can get by without...
Read moreI'd like to preface by saying that I'm a flight attendant and I purposefully come thru DAL to get Moe's because I can't get it in Houston. I deal with airport restaurant workers all the time and they always treat employees wonderfully. I have worked customer service jobs since I was a teenager and know how to treat people well.
The gentleman and lady that were preparing food were wonderful and generous with portioning.
Then I got to the checkout and there was a younger girl there. I grabbed a water out of the cooler and was holding it and she mumbled something under her breath to me and I didn't hear her. She then shouts at me "I TOLD YOU I NEED TO SCAN YOUR WATER". So I brushed it off thinking it was a bad day for her. Then when I paid the card machine kept saying error please remove card every time I inserted my card. So as prompted, I was removing it. She then SHOUTS at me again "don't remove it" and I responded with "it said to" and she with a major attitude abrasively said "do you not know how to follow instructions" . This infuriated me because you don't speak to a customer like that and someone who works in the airport and had their badge visibly displayed even more. I told her before I tapped my card I would like my tip removed from my bill as I graciously gave 25%.
Sorry to the workers that won't get a tip out from me that were kind, but that girl ruined it for everyone and I certainly won't return to this...
Read moreLet me first say I go to Moe’s quite frequently so I know how friendly the customer service is and my customer experience is pretty awesome on a consistent basis. The young man who greeted me was pleasant and the lady who put the next ingredients in my burrito was also but the lady who checked me out made me feel like she did not want to be there. I am always asked if I want chips which I was not asked. When I asked if. Hips come with the meal her response was “it can”. I told her I would like chips and so she told the the other lady I wanted chips and had dismissed me in order to try to check out the next customer when I asked for salsa in which I had to ask 2 times to get her attention. She looked at where the salsa is supposed to be I assume and said “we don’t have any salsa”. I had to ask her to repeat what she said because I was absolutely shocked that Moe’s didn’t have any salsa which is a staple of the restaurant. She didn’t bother to go look or anything. Furthermore, my burrito did not taste like my usual Homewrecker burrito and was thoroughly disappointed with...
