Mr. Wong's Chicken & Rice - NW Hwy — Restaurant in Dallas

I'm not giving 2 stars because of food I love this place me and my husband love coming here I'm giving this because today I got off work we decided to go here we went thru the drive thru because my husband had to be at work at four we waited in the drive thru for ten min said hello nobody even tried to get our order this isn't the first time two other times I had to drive thru and knock on the window to get my order taken today we didn't have time so I called and asked what time they closed the the guy on the phone told me 930 so I asked why didn't any body say anything when I waited patiently for my order to be taken he said he didn't know he also said he didn't know why when I had called before nobody answerd the phone and why nobody didn't come to the drive thru window when I drove thru i saw people just standing there talking then I said wewell if I asked cooperate why nobody answers the phone or come to the drive thru what would they say he said I don't know so I feel like maby there is just a bunch of kids working there playing around his answer to everything was I dnt know I also work in restaraunt business now for 20 yrs that's not how u answer a customer very disappointed like I said I love this place but I will find another location. I never write bad reviews but this has happend three times where they just let me sit in the drivethru and nobody comes to take my order northwest...

These people are crooks. I mistakenly placed my order at the wrong Mr. Wongs location. I realized this immediately and in less than 10 seconds I canceled my order (restaurants and drivers cancel orders or mess up all the time didn’t think it would be a huge issue). I knew for a fact my order hadn’t been accepted yet because it was still “processing”. They charged me in full for my order because they “already started my order” (in 10 seconds even though it was still processing). Once I saw they wouldn’t allow a cancellation, I said I’d make the drive to go and pick it up. Then they refused to let me go pick up the food that I PAID FOR. They literally charged me $50 for food that they refused to let me pick up.. Even uber eats said they had never heard of...

My first time at this NW Hwy location and the “lady” at the register, very negative energy, that was clue #1, I ordered the spicy chicken shrimp noodle and got it back with a bunch of seasoning piled up on top, usually when you ask for spicy, its basically spicy sauce, not a mountain of dry seasoning on top of the noodles, shocking! The shrimp is the kind of frozen baby shrimp you buy at the grocery store, the only thing I honestly saved for future take out, was the soy sauce packages, I literally threw the entire plate away, very disappointed. I will warn others to stay away! I’m glad it was only me that experienced this, without my family. I’m almost in shock, I wish I would’ve taken a picture before...
