This bar allows their patrons to sit outside on their back patio that faces an apartment building until 2am and sometimes 3am. It’s unbelievably loud. The back patio should close at a reasonable hour each night so the residents who live across the street can enjoy some quiet time throughout the night without being woken up by loud drunk people. It’s a nightmare living across from this establishment. There are also fights every single weekend that spill out into the street. It’s just atrocious. I hope their ownership has some common sense and chooses to respect noise ordinance and close the back patio down at a reasonable hour each night. Myself and others have already made several calls to the police and have filed a complaint with the city. One way or the other this bar will respect noise ordinance. I just hope they do it on their own before it gets messy with the law. Additionally, they never answer their phone and their mailbox is full so they cannot accept voicemails. So far all I can say is that this is a poorly run establishment. Please have respect for your neighbors. That’s all we ask. Update: somehow this place is even worse now than it was when I wrote the original review. Their patrons get hammered drunk and start fights and pull guns on each other. They’ve been visited by the police several times at this point. So, honestly, if you don’t want to get shot by an over-served dude open-carrying a Glock, maybe avoid this place. This place really needs to be shut down.

Wife and I came in on a Saturday afternoon to shoot some pool. A little dark inside but the bartenders made the atmosphere welcoming. One with the beard made us a badass espresso martini. Would definitely come back. Cool spot to get some drinks and chill 👍

Hey July 4th, 2018 was my first time at this place and matter of fact. I lived in this area of Oak Cliff all my life and I remember Bobs Market, Auto Parts and Long John Silvers, Sonic and Tejano Restaurant and I even seen it closing the places down. And they started The making of Bishop Arts and right then I said to myself there goes the neighborhood. Once it was up, I said this is not a place for a person like me, I assume it was more for upper class and never once did it cross my mind to step in to one of the clubs, until yesterday. And I was so surprised and amaze how the staff were, I'm talking they were fast, big smiles and so polite. Especially someone like me, you know Tex Mex long hair and metal to the heart. And what really blew my mind was the crowd and music that made me say this will be my new place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. It was like one big back yard party. Everyone just socializing with one another and I guess that's why they call it the Social Club. And the staff had everything under control. Heck even the staff walked around making sure everyone are having a good time without any problems. Also I never seen a staff that knows when to say no more my friend to someone who doesn't need another drink and they let them know without inberancing them and walks them out in a perfisonable way and making sure they are welcome back that they just need it to call it a night. Hey I know it's sounds like all this in one day. Hey I like to osevber a place before I can say anything about the place and believe me this place is the spot to enjoy yourself without worrying about people getting out of hand. Like I said the staff has that undercontrol. So if you're looking for a place to enjoy yourself with a cold one and relax. This is the place hey music is great country, reggae, R and B and Rock n Roll. Thanks alot for the greatest time I have had In along time...

I went here last night with my boyfriends and his friends after watching the super bowl they wanted to get more drinks and while waiting for the drinks a friend offered food that was on the table( my mistake) grabbing a slice of pizza a plate of fries fell and mind you I’m a little passed being buzzed so I wasn’t aware they fell, a guy that claimed to be security( wasn’t dressed like it) started yelling and cussing at me to pick the plate up so I asked him why he was giving so much attitude and if he had told me nicely I would’ve picked it up but another lady popped up out of nowhere also yelling. We got kicked out for that. So unprofessional we are customers that are drinking because it’s a bar! I feel like they could’ve handled the situation differently. Knowing the environment that we’re in it’s their job to talk to drunk people in the right way to not escalate situations. First and last...
