I wish I could give a better review for this place because I was so excited to check it out but unfortunately I can't. I bought a Monstera Deliciosa about a month ago. The girl working the register didn't even know what a monstera was, and was dismissive when I was asking questions and told me they were all sold out. If it weren't for who I think was a manager stepping in that I would've found out that they still had some in stock. The layout of the shop itself was extremely cluttered and nothing was labeled clearly, and it was impossible to tell what was for sale and what was for display only. It became very obvious as soon as I got home with it that the plant had a mealy bug problem, and I ended up losing 3 large leaves because of it. I understand that pests are unavoidable when it comes to house plants but when you had that many in such a small space you would think they would take greater measures to prevent it. On top of that a couple of days after buying a lot of he smaller leavers towards the bottom of the plant were turning yellow and shriveling, even though I hadn't watered it yet. I'm relatively new to keeping plants and I thankfully have a friend who's more experienced to help me through these problems, but if I hadn't this plant would've died before I could figure out what was going wrong. I now have half the plant I started with because of this shops poor care for it. Honestly take your business to an actually established and long standing nursery, because these hipstery plant shops that are popping up everywhere are only capitalizing on a trend and don't seem to ever actually know how to take care of...
Read moreThis shop is very cute and bright. But, I have to say the products and plants are way over priced for a small business. I get that, it’s local and small but during covid I don’t think it’s fair to bump up the prices of plants and planters when you can get a much higher quality items at such a decent prices elsewhere. Few girls in the store weren’t that helpful, didn’t know much about the plants and felt like they were dismissive. If you want your small business to grow, start off by pricing your products at a fair price. Maybe hire people who are knowledgeable about houseplants.

Read moreShopped here a few times before but won’t be coming back due to the poor customer service. Waited at the front of the counter for over 5 minutes because no one was there. My husband had to go find an employee and let them know we were waiting. Waited another couple minutes after that and when the staff finally came back they didn’t even acknowledge us (again, we were standing directly at the front of the counter) and instead proceeded to check out the customer they just spent the past 10 minutes talking to. I don’t think that was right given we had been waiting and expressed intent to check out first but a simple “let me check them out first and I’ll be right with you” or “sorry to keep you waiting” would have gone a long way. Since we weren’t even acknowledged we just left. If you can’t do the simple courtesy of acknowledging someone who was been waiting to give you money, well- there are many more affordable places...
