If I could give Zero stars I would, this was THE WORST permanent jewelry experience I’ve ever had. I decided to treat myself to the $200 permanent bracelet the girl with black hair and glasses did a terrible job! She literally zapped the skin on my wrist 3 TIMES!! She said I saw the sparks I’m sorry then proceeded to do it zap my wrist 2 more times.. my wrist was Red and tender so I asked her if she was supposed to use leather so that doesn’t happen and she proceeded to tell me they don’t do that there.. on top of that she didn’t even ask my what size I wanted and put it too tight so I asked for someone else to do it, she said fine asked someone else and walked off with an attitude. The next girl that attempted to do it said the bracelet was too small and I asked if they could cut a bigger piece since I didn’t get a say in the size and then she backtracked and said no this is typically the size we do. The other girl finally attached it and I mentioned again that it was tight and she said my wrist was probably swollen because it was hot out yet the other permanent bracelet I got a year ago had no issue moving up and down my arm. I decided to let it go and check out the other shops nearby, after about 5 minutes I still noticed it was extremely tight and still had some pain and I couldn’t move it so I decided to go back and ask for a refund, I asked for the manager and she was flat out disrespectful and rude. I asked nicely if she could just cut it off since it was too tight and painful and give me a refund and she told me no refunds the receipt she sent supposedly said it, I went back and checked and of course it didn’t say anything about refunds not being aloud so when I asked her again she told me WELL ITS COMMON SENSE, WERE NOT GIVING A REFUND. I told her that’s fine cut it off and I’ll call my card (American express) and dispute it. She said that’s fine we have cameras to show you got it. I proceeded to get it cut off and left it there with no refund. After about 30 minutes she called and was acting super nice on the phone and told me I don’t want you to leave unhappy so I’ll give you a refund I said that’s fine thank you. I guess some folks overheard our conversation and made a big deal about her not giving a refund. I checked my bank account they only refunded me $127 out of the $215 I spent. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will definitely...
Read moreFinally! A social media jewelry brand that isn't total horse**. I've now placed 2 orders through Mod & Jo and was extremely skeptical after trying other brands with similar marketing strategies and similar jewelry styles. (The M Jewelers & Mejuri... Not that Mejuri is bad but they're just SO much more expensive. The M Jewelers is GOD AWFUL though. Bad product, bad service, just all bad bad bad.). I LOVE my products but what's even better than the products is the customer service. My orders are shipped extremely quickly and arrive in beautiful packaging. My most recent order was delayed (only by a week) due to an inventory discrepancy and one of the owners reached out via email to let me know and offered to ship a different product instead. I'm not in a rush so I said I'll wait but they refunded my shipping cost just for the inconvenience. After leaving a review for one of my necklaces that I mentioned it wasn't laying quite right (the chain links would get stuck but this doesn't happen anymore), the other owner reached out via email to see if there was anything they could do. It wasn't even a bad review--I loved my piece! But I love a brand that accepts feedback and provides a quality product and is kind to their customers. The price point is excellent and the products are beautiful. I can't wait to see what other pieces they come out with because they've got a loyal customer in...

Love the concept! Trying out my first forever bracelet! Was promised that it would not tarnish and quality looks high end. Rachel was super personable and very talented! Took her time and making sure the bracelet fit right and was completely welded. 😍
SIX MONTHS LATER. I left my first review because they offered a discount upon purchase. The bracelet came off twice in 3 months. The first time it came off I went back to MOD. They charge a Dallas city tax which I’ve never heard of and they charge you the welding fee even with your purchasing. Then they want you to tip on top of that! The second time it came off I knew it was time to try a different place. I went to piercing pagoda at the Galleria and Kim and Marlon were absolutely amazing. They added a connector which I purchased through them and they did not charge me the welding fee.
Someone else in the reviews mentioned that they put the bracelet on too tight and I completely agree! These people don’t know what they’re doing. And on top of that, they were not very welcoming. I don’t think they are used to seeing a black people in...
