Hoppin’ around on a Thursday to the soft opening at @on_rotation. Can I be honest….I lived in walking distance (Lakewood) and never been inside. I did a beer exchange and they knew about their beer. When it came on my radar it was a whole Pantene Pro V outside so I was SOL 🥴🤣. I followed and heard about the new location so I was down to try. Wow, I see what I’ve been missing. The brewery is in a nice space tucked nicely near Love Field. They didn’t sleep on that and took full advantage in that theme. I love to travel and started traveling internationally since 17. So, I was giddy seeing the Airport codes (QR) to check out the menu. The menu is straight to the point. You’re going to get this chicken vibe we got going. It’s perfect! If I’m on a 2-3 hour layover I don’t have a bunch of time. They have veggie options and salads as well. My first item was Crispy Cauliflower (my all time fav) with a sauce that we had a lot of kick to it. I paired it with On Rotation Cinnamon Peach Waffle Stout 7.9% abv. It was really light stout with subtle sweetness that didn’t over power my veggies. That Peach Almond Maibock was a show stopper as well at 7.8% abv. I didn’t know when I was going to get back over that way since I live near The Colony. I ordered the King Ranch Chicken Sandwich with Fritos. I didn’t know they were going to show out and have them on the sandwich 😍. I loved the cilantro instead of lettuce. It gave me a fresh and crisp taste in every bite. That was a healthy bird of a sandwich. I finished off my last beer Passion in the Streets a fruited sour 4.8% abv. The tap room also has local favorite beers like @peticolasbrewing @celestialbeerworks @oakcliffbrewing @pegasuscitybrewery @greatraft_dfw ..again knowing you want to visit breweries but you only have time for one. No problem On Rotation brings it to you. Very Smart! The patio area as well as the inside is very spacious for distance dining and hanging out. When the official opening happens I hope you go check them out. . . . . . . . . . . . #beerblogger #womendrinkcraftbeer #brandambassador #lovefieldbrewery #dfwcraftbeer #drinklocal #kingchickenranch #onrotation...
Read moreWell me and the wifie went to Rotation Brewery And Kitchen on lastnite 6-8-2025 after watching them being featured on channel 33 with the host Yolanda and might i add the food looked amazing so I decided to take my wife to enjoy a lite and tasty dinner, because the host seemed like the food was some of the best she'd had, so I was pumped to try it since me and my wife are foodies and pretty above average cooks so we pumped yes we were. After arriving front counter was friendly and prompt,we order and set ourselves we ordered the appetizer beer queso and chips that came with guacamole, I had time to try two chips with queso and our order arrived i was like wow, that was too fast. So we had order sandwiches, she had the buffalo sandwich and frys, I ordered the King ranch sandwich and a side of okra. Might i say I love guacamole I two or three chips of guacamole and stopped eating it, the okra very lite to no seasoning Churches chicken okra will blow them out of the water anytime! Both of the sandwiches needed more sauce and the portions could have been bigger as shown on channel 33, and everything should and could have more salt including everything! The service after receiving our order was non existing.. Very disappointing..... no...
Read moreI really appreciate how this bar offers not only just food at all, but also a huge selection of it. Because of this, I’d say it’s the best bar I’ve been to yet. There’s a good amount of seating, and a great amount of seating including the outdoor patio. My only 2 complaints are:
they only had 1 (kinda slow) waitress taking orders at the bar during normal happy hour timing on a Wednesday afternoon/evening, so it took FOREVER for me to get to the counter when there were only a handful of people in front of me. I wish another staff member had noticed the long, slow-moving line and stepped in to help.
one of my friends was given a little cup of sweet potato fries even though she ordered (and paid for) the larger shareable-size sweet potato fries. At first, she was confused why it didn’t come with the dipping sauce that comes with the shareable, so she requested it, but the employee she asked fought with her and didn’t let her have it. Then, she noticed that other people got bigger portions, and went back inside to see why. They finally realized/admitted their mistake and brought her the correct portion (and dipping sauce), but it took a really long time and was a bit...
