Oct 23 2022 [Edit] - No pictures, I forgot to take them! I tried this place again and I was hoping things had changed since I haven't ordered from this location in several months. I use to order here all the time but it was CONSISTENTLY always bad quality, and wrong orders. March 2021 was the last straw, and so I switched to Domino's - but recently I been craving that Stuffed Crust so I went to Pizza Hut on Midway [Further drive & Different Location - and it was DELICIOUS. Now I know what quality to expect] and a couple weeks later I thought to give this location on Preston another chance since it's a lot closer to me.
Unfortunately this Pizza Hut on Preston is probably worse than ever. I know what it's suppose to taste like as I got the same order from Midway a couple weeks ago. This pizza was very different. Dry and gross.. At first I thought there was No Sauce on it, and the pizza was SUPER thin. There was a very thin layer of sauce, and a very thin layer of dried up cheese. The pizza definitely didn't taste fresh. It tasted like Pizza that's been sitting out most of the day, it was stiff. Not like it was right out of the oven. [I ended up putting some store-bought marinara sauce on top of it, and then into my own oven myself which is crazy I'd have to do that.]
Do not order here. Go a little further to a different location like the one on Midway.. Pizza Hut Preston needs major attention and accountability from Corporate/Management and take a look at how they're working there. March 14 2021: This is the second time my order was wrong.
Their was no seasoning on the crust. I chose Hut Favorite as the crust flavor option but I received No Flavor. I can see there was no seasoning, and no garlic butter. Nothing. It was terrible. On top of that the crust was overcooked I think. It was hard and chewy. I also chose Extra Sauce and there was barely any sauce on the pizza.
This place doesn't seem to care and is just wanting to get pizza to people quickly instead of giving them the right order, or good quality pizza to...
Read moreWelp! I guess I'm done with Pizza Hut. Didn't want to deal with Uber Eats or DoorDash so I figured I'd just order pizza directly from Pizza Hut. When completing my online order at 7pm, I noted my apartment number and the gate code. After I completed my online order, I received a text that DoorDash would be handling the delivery. Pizza Hut outsources to DoorDash? I guess so. I was given an estimated delivery time of 7:39pm. I received the text that my delivery was en route with Monica. I was given an option to edit the delivery instructions. I included a note to turn left into my complex and come about 100ft to an unlocked gate. As the time neared 7:39, I saw the car icon approaching my apartment on the tracker app. I went to the door to await the delivery. 7:40...7:50...I walked outside. Maybe they were sitting there. But, no. I got a text from DoorDash stating my driver was having trouble locating me. I texted back, "where are you?" No answer. I called. No answer. I went back inside my apartment to call Pizza Hut. I'd tipped 18%. Had I ordered on DoorDash I would have had the chance to amend this, but now, this Monica person gets a full tip for sorry service. Pizza Hut never answered the phone. Monica, a Hispanic, Spanish-speaking man, finally arrived with my pizzas. He began speaking Spanish to me. But I do not speak Spanish and could not communicate with him. I took the pizzas, thanked Monica, and I went back inside my apartment and called Pizza Hut again--no answer. Luckily, the corporate office is in Plano. I'll be there in the morning. Even THEIR rating is 1.9, so they aren't answering any calls!! Bottom line--don't order online unless you want to possibly experience delays with your order. I order from Pizza Hut all the time. But I will not be ordering from this location again. I see why they have a 3.9...
Read moreI would usually give this particular location of Pizza Hut five stars, because they're usually on top of things and the food is typically great. However, this particular night I placed an order for several pizzas to be picked up. My son went in to pick up the pizzas and he didn't know the order so when they asked him to check it, he said ok.
When I got home, there was a large pizza missing. I called the store and was told that since it was a pickup and since the person that picked it up didn't realize that the pizza was missing, that we needed to come pick it up. I thought it would be offered to be delivered, but it wasn't. I just found this to be an inconvenience because that pizza should have been with the rest of them. The guy told me that I would be out about $10 if I had it delivered. I even told him that I would tip the delivery driver if he could bring it to us and he said he couldn't do that. I've spoken to the manager before named Jessica who was wonderful and took care of the issue immediately for me but this person had no desire to help me whatsoever.
Not only that but the pan pizza tasted like a thin pizza and the thin pizza was thinner than the cardboard box that the pizza came in...all of the pizzas looks like they had no cheese on them and the cheese pizza has dark brown bubbles and it all looks like it was way over cooked.
This was a horrible experience and I usually don't have bad experiences at this location, so I was really disappointed that they wouldn't help me out and at least work with me. The leftovers are usually good cold, these looked and tasted like they were freeze-dried and everything was shriveled up. So...
