I'm quite a bit of a coffee conossieur, I make my own cold brew & other coffee drinks at home. I also order beans whole from my favorite roasteries. Take this review from that perspective please!
I've lived in Dallas for 2 yrs, trying to explore as many coffee shops as possible. Merit, white rhino, native, eiland, & several others. I've been to Tre Stelle 3 or 4 times now & it's my favorite. For a while I couldn't decide where I wanted to get my weekend coffee, nothing stood out. But now I found my place.
This cafe reminds me of what I would envision opening my own, I can tell the owner loves making coffee & special drinks. When they put the old fashioned coffee on the menu, I was very impressed. I, too, enjoy using the large cube with my cold brew. & They took it a step further & really infused that bourbon flavor in there.
They also use one of the best oat milk brands out there "Minor Figures". I haven't seen any stores sell it on shelf, but you can probably get it online from a local roaster.
The espresso they use here is amazing as well, it doesn't have a harsh burnt flavor. It's nutty and well balanced.
Today I went in and got a 12oz oatmilk latte & needed a snack. I thought they had banana bread but it was almond bread! I mean..come on. Let's give a round of applause for not just having almond croissants and banana bread. Lol
I can tell the owner really took the time to make these drinks/food special & unique. I wish the cafe was closer to my house! Also, the staff & owner are...
Read moreFound this coffee shop as I was running some errands. I was greeted immediately when I entered and the employees were helpful in explaining the house specialties. I generally try to go for the house specialties rather than the standard coffee menu when I go to a coffee shop.
The environment is really nice here, and there’s plenty of seating around the shop. I can however see it getting very loud if there are a lot of people. I liked the dimly lit ceiling and all the succulents around the room. There were a few art pieces around the room and some coffee bean sacks near one of the corners.
I ordered a Neapolitan and an Almond Croissant. The Neapolitan is based off of the ice cream and apparently a strawberry mocha like drink. I’m a huge fan of both strawberries and mocha so that’s why I went for it. The smell was definitely fruity. I didn’t really taste the strawberries too much, but still enjoyed the drink. The croissant was incredibly flaky and found later that the pastries are dropped off the same day. Definitely recommend you stop by at Tre...
Read moreBEST. COFFEE. EVER!!!! I’ve been to so many coffee shops in DFW and this is by far one of my favorites. First, the coffee tastes amazing. That’s a given but compared to the other coffee shops in Richardson, the coffee quality here is literally impeccable. What makes the coffee shop 10x better is the service. The workers are so kind and love to get to know their customers. They also have tables, a couch, and free wifi to do work, study, or chill. Don’t sleep on the dirty horchata!!!! I’ve had horchatas at different coffee shops before but this place was by far the best. They also have pastries from La Casita Bakeshop, a bunch of syrups for my sweet coffee drinkers and absolutely aesthetic vibe. Love the plants and paintings they have up. Also, the music was not only good (10/10 taste for whoever chose it) but also isn’t distracting or crazy loud.
One of the best coffee shops in Dallas/Richardson! You literally...
