This location is great, and I love that I can walk to it too! Granted, their stuff isn't the healthiest in the world, but I'm ok with that when I need dinner in a pinch. They are even great when they make minor mistakes with my order, like tonight: long story short, they got the bulk of my order good, but gave me the wrong sauces, so after checking my bag, I got back in line to get my correct sauces (they were busy, so it was like a line 4 people deep). While I didn't mind waiting back in line, another customer noticed I was back in line, and let one of the servers know (thank you random customer!). That server instantly invited me to come to the front of the line to get my order fixed (tho again, I said I didn't mind waiting in line, but he insisted). I told him I had ordered Blackened Ranch and Mardi Gras Mustard dips, but instead got Tarter Sauce and Cocktail Sauce dip. He instantly gave me the correct dips as well as let me keep the other dips too at no charge, and apologized profusely for the mix up, to which I thank him greatly! I work two retail jobs too, and know that when it's crazy busy, mess-ups can and do happen, it's almost a fact of life. This mess-up wasn't at all earth-shattering, but I am grateful for how well this Popeye's dealt with it, to the point of the level of service here being beyond my expectations. Even with a line of four to five people deep, plus a line of cars around the store for drive-through, this store knows how to treat...
Read moreThe staff was very rude and the ring leader of the negative atmosphere came from the manager. She was very sarcastic in her tone and the drive thru cashier was pleasant until leaving to get order. She returned with an attitude which I believe was the manager. Absolutely no reason for someone to be friendly then make contact with management returning with a mean girls club attitude and fake gratitude. This happened twice which disappoints me bc I enjoy the food but absolutely will find a different Popeyes to visit bc I actually am afraid if the sarcasm is due to "who knows what with my food order" . Ex. I have heard by fast food employees who worked at certain establishments that they literally would do the unbelievable unsanitary things to customers who they thought were "difficult ". The act was shoving meat patty down his pants, giving it a circular motion front and back then using it to serve the customer he felt were a bit extra according to him. Absolutely I can not say that the staff at popeyes conducted themselves in such a barbaric nature but I can admit it crossed my mind. The mistake I made was needing more time to look over menu and when ready to order absolutely no one answered (drive thru) I even saw employees in restaurant watching me attempt to order and ignore my presence while staring at me. Until I pulled out my phone then I got action instead...
Read moreHere's a precaution: If you get the wrong order, you could be REFUSED to have your order fixed.
The food is good, and I respect the young employees working there, but the manager is another matter. I made an Uber order yesterday and the food they gave me was wrong, and the Uber driver, out of the kindness of her heart, offered to help and return the food back to get my correct order, and the manager there INSISTED that the food she gave the driver was the correct one. I, being sickly, ended up calling a relative to drive over to the place to ask them to fix my order. The manager refused, saying that she already made the order three times, and showed me a screen of the order she made, which WASN'T even mine!
One of the employees found out that there were actually TWO people of the same name that had different orders. If that manager had some sense to check it properly, she wouldn't have mixed up my and some other poor fellow's food. Of course you ended up making it three times, because you were being careless!!
Not once in my life did I ever felt the need to sternly talk to a stranger. If you ever go this place, be as friendly as you can to the employees, because they are more diligent than their manager,...
