This place is tiny, so don't blink or you will miss it. I don't live in the area. On the way back home from being at the dealership in Arlington, I decided to stop since I was on 20 and as it was one of my Yelp bookmarks. It's to the left of the donut shop. I ordered the catfish 4 piece basket at $16+. It came with fries and a piece of bread. The fish and fries were cooked to order and well seasoned. To the gentleman in the back who prepared my order, you are appreciated. I have to be honest, I am usually focused on the food, but there are times when you simply have to look at other factors that go into the particular dining/ take out experience. The customer service needs improvement. Sometimes it doesn't matter how good the food is, if you don't get treated kindly/fairly in order to get the food, it can be a deal breaker. The young lady behind the register was talking to someone sitting at one of the tables. She clearly wasn't eating but having a conversation via speakerphone, making it a three way. I am a new customer and trying to ask questions and I pretty much had to compete with the threesome. Mind you, I am taking pictures and asking questions about food items and I said specifically said to the cashier, that I was doing a review on the establishment...maybe my work ethic only, but I definitely would have been on point. She could have cared less. An maybe this added to me being vexxed, but the lady that ordered right before me, asked about an extra sauce. She wanted another, and asked if there was a charge and the lady said, "No." She even went further to say, "You want some peppers?" I am not sure why her money was no good there but mine was. I went outside to get in my car to take a picture and noticed there was only 1 half full tartar sauce contained for 4 pieces of fish.....my head turned sideways. So, I walked back in and said, "Can I get another sauce, there is only one and I ordered a 4 piece?" Understanding it is a business to make money, I had $1.50 in my hand. The cashier held out her hand to take the money and I am like, "How much is it?" I'm like in my head, you gave that other lady sauce for free and you even offer her pickles but you don't even tell me how much each container is before putting your hand out? She says, $1 something..." I gave her a $1.25, she handed me 2 containers and I left. All I am saying is, if you have paying customers asking legitimate questions about the business, they come first before personal interaction. One tartar really isn't enough for 4 pieces of fish in my opinion and it does make a person feel some kind of way when they witness other customers getting additional sauces and peppers for free. I have tried other establishments who do add two sauces and pickles and peppers are included without...

First time visiting here yesterday. You will past it if you’re not looking carefully because the sign is a bit small….The cashier didn’t have good customer service. She could have been more welcoming and friendly by speaking to customers when coming in and being more informative. She asked us were we paying with card and we answered yes” she informed us that the wifi was down and they couldn’t accept card but she didn’t inform us that they accepted Cash App until we overheard customers asking about the Cash App information when we came back from getting cash across the street. I wanted to order a burger basket but was informed the burger grill was down and not working so I ordered the wing basket which consisted of 2 flavors….I picked garlic parmesan and lemon pepper. The garlic Parmesan was only Parmesan from a bottle you buy out of a store and sprinkled on top and the lemon pepper wings were ok and had a bit of a sweet taste to it(wings I could of made at home tbh) the fries were really good but they don’t give you much. My mom ordered fish which was too salty and they only gave her 1 tarter sauce for a 3 piece basket. This place have potential I feel the wings need a homemade sauce with something to it instead of the lazy way out because you want customers to continue to come. We also tried their cakes(strawberry and cookies&cream cake) they were pretty good as well probably the best thing...

Your Next Favorite Meal Awaits! Looking for a new culinary adventure? My husband and I recently stumbled upon a true gem after a quick "fish near me" Google search, and we are so incredibly glad we did! The menu options alone looked absolutely delectable, and the actual experience surpassed all expectations. I indulged in the 2-piece grilled fish, which was seasoned to perfection, accompanied by perfectly cooked okra and greens. My husband went for the hearty 3-piece fried catfish, paired with 8 crispy chicken wings, tender greens, and golden onion rings. Every single dish was flawlessly seasoned – a true testament to their kitchen's expertise. And let's talk about Tiffanie's Desserts! Although my initial craving for peach cobbler couldn't be met, they more than made up for it by satisfying my sweet tooth with their utterly delicious banana pudding. Seriously, it was lipsmacking good! This spot is a definite must-try. We're already planning our next visit, and we highly recommend you discover it for yourself! You won't be...

So this is coming from someone who’s a picky eater especially with catfish. First thing I want to note is that my order came up to 24.95. While I was waiting for my order I checked charges on my card bc I didn’t receive a receipt and was charged 29.16 so I guess they tip themselves even though they had a tip jar and on the jar it says tips are appreciated but not required. The Mac n cheese looked like it was going to taste good but it was actually curdled. Fish looked good and was seasoned ok but was crispy on outside n mushy on the inside. I asked for tarter sauce and was given tarter sauce pre made in packets but one small cup of house sauce. My taste buds didn’t like it but I don’t like Buffalo sauce either so you might but I didn’t. I don’t have complaints about the okra but I’m disappointed and won’t be returning but the service was wonderful the owner is a nice guy, the food just didn’t do it for me.

October 2024 We don’t visit this part of town often. We decided to try some local small business and fry food and dessert. If you can look beyond the cleanliness and untidy display, this location serves some great food. We were the first customers on a Saturday morning. The restaurant was not ready to serve us. However, as soon as the oven and fryer was turned on, the paces was up. The pineapple and strawberry cake were flavorful and good portion. The fish filets were very tasty and the fries were hot. Since the food was freshly prepared, I was very impressed with the offerings even though the wait was long. Great job serving great tasty food. Hopefully, the store has enough sales to employ additional help to tidy up the dinning room and remove the clutter. Have high expectations to execute the order thus win the heart of the customers.
