Roots Juices — Restaurant in Dallas

Super Disappointed! This place used to be so great & always fresh. We ordered 2 five day cleanses that were split up over two deliveries. The first five days were decent and only one juice had gone a little bad, which is totally normal for fresh juices. The second set was terrible. All of the Wake Up juice was fermented and exploding. I called the store and they were quick to replace them but it should have been checked. The girl at the store said they were fresh but when we dumped them in our sink they were thick as slime. No way fresh. That was the second hiccup. At this point my fiancé and I are 6 days in on our cleanse and can tell good from bad juices. Last night we must of drank another bad juice because we are both sick with stomach cramps, cold sweats, like food poisoning sick. This is not our first cleanse so we are familiar with the symptoms of cleansing and these were not them. Not to mention us both getting sick the next day. The big issue is none of their juices have dates on them, so you have no clue what day that juice your drinking was pressed. So sad considering this place use to be great! *Response post owners response- I actually used to frequent your Oak Lawn location which closed. I also ordered online and only spoke to your team who had some questions. This was purely constructive criticism which I can see from your history of reviews, you don’t take well. Not once did I mention the juice tasted bad. The juices were actually quite good, there was just issues...

Unbelievable!!! We used Roots in Lakewood off and on for years. Their product was good, always understaffed, but we lived with that. This last 5 days experience has been simple indescribably bizarre. STAY CLEAR!!!!!!! CanNOT over emphasize this. Talk about passing the buck and coving their butts! It’s simply beyond words. Since ordering online on Thursday it has been nothing but one debacle right after another. The list of issues just kept getting longer and longer with each interaction. I think the neon signs issue is a styrofoam cup with white powder in it, as part of the cleanse package, with no label of ingredients and no written instruction should explain in simple terms how crazy these guys are. When questioned about that I was told, “Well your husband was explained what todo with that when he picked up.” Wow, is this an official business or did a friend put it together to help another friend out that was feeling under the weather? Please, find another reputable juicing establishment that has integrity, wiling to make good on their mistakes and has competent help!!!

With home delivery available, you don’t have to have a juicer that is local! Kimberly Snyder has exceptional juices and cleanse packages that I have used in the past and is exceptional! There are also some places in Chattanooga, TN that are superb. You can bet I’ll be planning ahead from now on and won’t think about Roots Juices EVER again, even...

My best friend brings me juices from here pretty often, and I have been once before today. My last experience wasn’t the best but I chalked it up to it being in the evening and the man being tired(except he greeted the woman after me with way more enthusiasm) I decided I would go and get some for us today.I walked in and smiled and greeted the man at the counter( same man as last time) he just looked at me -gave me an extremely dry hello, put on a mask and continued working. I asked him about any special flavors that they had and he pointed to the board and continued working. I read the options and when I asked him about one of the flavors he just looked at me and pointed to the board again- and said..”There’s 6 flavors” And turned around and continued working. He was completely dismissive and rude. I called my best friend to let her know what was happening and that -I don’t feel comfortable supporting a business that clearly has zero interest in customer service. She said she understands and that it’s no problem - they just won’t get her business anymore. Not sure why I was treated that way, but twice makes me think that he is that way...
