Edited as of 8/01/2024...My sister and I decided we were going to try the salad bar here again and also see if the service had changed. Let me tell everyone reading this, we were totally surprised! A little lady named Pam greeted us as we came through the door and seated us immediately. As soon as we were seated our waitress, Adrienne came to get our drink order. At this point we were overjoyed at these few changes. My sister checked the salad bar to see if it was fully stocked and it was and that's what we ordered. Our drink glasses were kept full the whole time we were there. I commented to our waitress and the hostess how wonderful it was to see all the great changes and being able to see employees helping each other and seeming to like their job. This was a total 180 degree change for the better! Thank you Ruby Tuesday for showing folks good food and service still exist at this location...❣️I hate writing reviews that are negative but this was the third time my sister and I came in around 5pm for the salad bar. I gave 5 stars to this same location about 6-8 months because they had the full salad bar back but these last few times its been awful. The lettuce in two of the containers was wilted and several things had been spilled on the bar without anyone cleaning it up. I asked for new lettuce and me and another lady waited about 15 minutes before the young girl brought it out. When she took it to the salad bar she just dumped it on top of the wilted stuff instead of removing the old. As we looked around I counted at least 7 employees talking and laughing while people coming in were having to wait to be seated. There weren't but 4 or 5 tables of customers so no reason to have to flag down our waiter for more tea but we did and asked while he was there for a new dessert they were advertising on a little insert on the tables. It was called turtle cheesecake. The guy said "let me check because we were out of it last week". He came back to the table and said they were still out of it. If this location keeps going downhill like this I'm afraid it won't be open much longer. Are there no managers anymore that really care about the establishment they're supposed to be managing. I can't believe it's just my sister and I that have brought this to the attention of management because I really liked some of the food on the menu but since the salad bar is so popular you would think that wouldn't be too hard to keep fresh and we'll stocked. Sorry people but sometimes the truth hurts or maybe y'all just need more training. We really need this restaurant type in our location. No one else has the endless salad bar which is a great attraction for us...
Read moreNot sure why I continue to go back other than that dang salad bar is so good, and they closed so many other locations nearby. Things I see over and over at this location: Menu changes Price increases for less food Consistently lack luster service (always grouped up in bar at kitchen window, in a booth, and/or on their cell phones. Great servers don't seem to stay likely because of👇) Lack of customers
It's ok, but it's rarely a good enough experience to come back. The salad bar is now $13.99, and drinks are $3.99. If my friend would've left, I would have walked out. Our neighbors, a table of 6, had placed their drink order but waited the same 15 minutes plus that we did to even see a server. When the server came, he seemed surprised to see us, and rather than at least acknowledging us, he headed straight to the big table to take their order. Three of them had already made a trip to the salad bar before he came. Meanwhile, we waited another 5 minutes for him to speak and take our drink orders. My friend ordered the chicken fingers, which looked like they came from the gas station. Overcooked, mostly breading, and came with only 4 and one side for $13.99. I would have sent it back. I will say, the salad bar did not diappoint. The toppings were very fresh (except the mushrooms) and filled to the brim. Can we talk about that pasta salad? The BEST!! Again, the salad bar is about the only thing I come for. I do love that for the price you can make as many trips as you like. They also have some good specials during the week if you sign up for their emails. I noticed they put pot roast on their menu for $18.99. Not sure who is gping to pay that as it's typically $12 or less most places.
Once we got service, our server was very friendly, but none of the servers seem to want to be there or in a hurry to serve you. Restaurant is always clean.
We usually have a regular Sunday spot down the road. Just for comparison, they are also a chain but have consistently great service and food. Their pricing is more reasonable - chicken tenders are meaty and fresh, 6 or more with 2 sides, and at least $1 less. They always have a line out the door with an hour long wait almost any time of the day. Ruby Tuesday was a ghost town on this trip (like...
Read moreMy wife, child and I decided to stop in for dinner. It was late and there was literally only a couple of people in the restaurant. The hostess greeted us and took us to our seat. Once seated we waited 20 mins for service and got none. We watched the hostess walk by several times and watched a couple of waitresses clean around us and walk by us and yet not one stopped to ask if we had been helped. Finally We all go up and went to the salad bar. There was two cold plates and only one that was clean. There were several plates on the side that were dirty. My wife asked for clean plates and the hostess brought several plates that she had to look through to find a clean plate. We got our salad and sat down and ate. After I finished my salad, about 30 minutes after initially being seated, and my wife was finishing up hers the waitress came over and said she didn't know we were there and asked us what we wanted. Why she didn't know we were there is beyond me. I could see her the whole time. She was in a corner booth on her phone and talking to some guy who may or may not have worked there. We had direct eye contact and she surely saw us get our salad. By this time we had no intentions of ordering anything that we intended. There was no way I could eat after the poor service. My daughter did want an ice cream so we did order that. The waitress went to her station and typed it in and hollered that she wasn't charging us for the salads. She immediately brought the check, asked us not to leave a google review, and a few moments go by and she brought the ice cream. She went back to her corner and we finished and left. We will never return to Ruby Tuesday. 10 years ago it was a great place and the staff were great and the food was awesome. Their were awesome a wait to get in and people wanted to eat there. Now everyone I pass is empty. Now I understand why. The whole place should be fired. From the hostess to the waitresses. They all knew we were there and yet no one bothered to say anything. Lessons should be taught. You cannot ignore this behavior or it will continue. I will...
