This place was a pretty decent place to go with the family an eat. I only like my avocados in sushi but my wife decided to get the table made guacamole dip. She said it wasn't bad but it wasn't as good as other places. There were 4 different main meals we did get to try. First we got was a nacho supreme with shredded chicken, it was great and the size well very good for the price. Second we chose to get the chili rellenos filled with brisket and cheese. Again very good and cooked great and good portion for the price. Third we got the enchiladas la cocina and to be honest it tastes really good but 3 little corn enchiladas with light sauce and a small bowl of rice wasn't worth the price of $17.50. We thought it tasted good but both though for the size and quality not worth the price. Forth we got the Carne asada and don't get me wrong it was good and was cooked very well. It was about me be cut by a butter knife so very tender. But the little piece of meat and more sautĂŠed veggies then meat like a 10 to 1 ratio to was not worth the price to get. If you go the best thing to get for the price is the nachos it was great size and very filling. I saw the fajitas from other people and the potions were higher ratios on veg to meat. I'm a little spoiled when it comes to fajitas from a different restaurant I like going to. This places nachos are just the Same and worth it so if you go get them you'll be pleased. All in all a good place with a decent atmosphere and good service, they kept up with drinks and made sure we had hot chip/salsa, an made sure we were happy with the service while being pretty busy for a middle of the week dinner time frame. Would recommend to go

ABSOLUTE TOP TEIR SERVICE!!!! I’ve eaten here many times over the years and love the experience, which is why I remain a loyal customer, but there are no words to express how above and beyond this place will go! Even as someone who’s been there multiple times, they still treat me as though I’m a new customer make the memorable. Anai Was our this evening waitress and offered us two things we hadn’t tried, and as regulars were generally pretty picky. At this point, I’m convinced if it’s made at La casina’s bar or kitchen it’s delicious. Every drink is poured Beautifully, And instead of giving you the same flavors They mix their own and always have something new for you to try. Tonight was Honey Dew and Reposada, a combination i never new i NEEDED. Also tried to special Tostada, The combination of flavors is beyond the norm for this area, and i mean this seriously. I’ve been saying it for years and I’ll keep saying it La Cocina is the best place to eat in Dallas, Georgia!!! Don’t be disappointed by boring flavors when you can have something that’s meant to be in Atlanta right here in the comfort of the country ❤️ Would like to refer Rilee, Chad, Anai, Kennedy, but the entire wait Staff is incredible. I could go on for hours, so I’ll cut it here. Go eat at La Cocina in Dallas.

So first off this is my 3rd time here. First 2 experiences were good which is why I returned. Our booth wasn't clean we didnt say anything. I ordered the wrong pizza which they didn't want to correct my mistake for thinking they would understand. My husband daiquiri wasn't good and cost 10. His lemonade was nasty and he is very humble decided to just pay and leave. My wanting to allow the manager to hear our concerns was a mistake. He made excuses for the daiquiri saying its the way its made. Didn't offer another drink we still were intending to pay. Lemonade he said was out a machine (so that makes its good 🙄). He offered no resolve was basically implying " you are expecting us to correct bad beverages )? Yes we actually did. My husband is retired airforce and world traveled so he drinks enough to know this wasn't the best they could do. Not returning.

If I could give zero stars I would. Came to LaCocina today for lunch with coworkers, we had a total of 9 people. We typically eat here at least once or twice a week because the food is always good and service is USUALLY great. Ani C. was our waitress and we had a horrible experience from the moment we walked in. We had to ask for extra salsa at least three times before it was brought. - When drinks were brought, two of them were wrong and we had to ask for the correct drinks three times before they were corrected. One person ordered a cheese enchilada on a flour tortilla, she was brought a cold/hard CORN tortilla with no red sauce on it. Another couple ordered a lunch special number 6 with a soft shell taco. She was brought a hard shell taco TWICE, before someone took it back and brought a soft shell taco. Another person ordered a kids quesadilla. When checks were brought, she was given a bill for $12! We were THEN told that the kids quesadilla was $6 with a $2 up-charge because she's an adult! They "justified" that the drink was included with her meal, meaning she should have been charged $8 for a meal plus her drink. Instead she was charged $12 because they added an EXTRA drink on top of her meal. So she was charged for a kids meal, drink, up-charge AND extra drink. As a gauge, the ADULT quesadilla with all the add-ons is only $6.25. Two other people shared the lunch combo #6. This entree includes a burrito, rice, taco and drink. They added one additional drink on the entree. When they received the bill, they had been charged for two separate drinks outside of the lunch combo, plus charged for one additional taco. One drink and taco should have already been included in the original meal. Finally, several people asked for to-go drinks. We told Ani we needed two Dr. Pepper and three sweet teas. She came back and gave a sweet tea to the person who ordered Dr. Pepper, then gave the other three ALL unsweet tea. Upon reporting all this to the manager, blamed ALL of these issues on the kitchen staff stating they were short handed and they are having trouble getting food out on time. I advised him that the large number of these issues have nothing to do with the kitchen staff. Take away the direct food related issues, and all the other screw ups are due to the waitress.

Our office staff visits this restaurant at least once or twice a week and we have never received service like this. We are all so disappointed and are most likely finding another place to eat for lunch while we're at work. I hate that this happened, but again want to reiterate that this was NOT a reflection on the kitchen staff or the other wait staff at LaCocina. This is only a reflection of Ani C. and...

Went in tonight with my family. Husband and I ordered beef enchiladas (which we have dozens of times). Food comes out and the sauce is horrible, it taste badly burnt. I ask the waitress if I could get chori pollo instead (I took one bite and spit it in a napkin). She said I have to ASK the manager. He comes to the table and begins telling me how I must've ordered chicken enchiladas before because the sauce is the same, how he's worked there since '07, how the cook has been there 7+ years, how he taste the food everyday and the sauce was good. He then demands to bring me chicken enchiladas so I could see that I was WRONG. 😒 I explained that I had never ordered chicken enchiladas nor asked for the sauce to be modified. He says 'oh I'll show you' and comes back with chicken enchiladas. Yes the sauce was different but it wasn't what I wanted. So I thanked him and again explained I didn't want that. Then he begins saying he had a meeting this morning and didn't taste the sauce so yeah he guesses it may have been burnt. I was so baffled by this pointe I just asked for the check. The waitress brings it, then before handing it to me she says oh this kids pizza should be removed since kids eat free on Mondays. (I was unaware of this) The manager comes back instead and tells me how he wouldn't let her remove the $5 pizza since he already removed the enchiladas. By then I was dumbfounded. I didn't ask for kids meal to be removed apparently it's standard on Mondays. (I was also paying for a large cheese dip, a chicken quesadilla, beef tacos and 5 drinks) So it wasn't like I was trying to get a free meal. The way he acted was absolutely ridiculous and childish. My husband was so hungry by the time we left, we ended up stopping by taco bell cause all we ate was chips and dip while our kids ate their food and the manager scolded us for not liking our food. Very poor experience.

So you agree that the food should've been tasted, but ignore the fact that it wasn't, as well as the other complaints I made, then offer an empty apology and no possible solution. As far as appearing satisfied, I went to a restaurant and didn't eat, How is that being satisfied? I was tired of being berated like a child, so I asked for the bill and left. As I would not cause a scene over dinner. Either way, I will simply take my business elsewhere and suggest friends...

If I could I would give zero stars. The service I received today was absolutely horrible. I went in for lunch with my grandmother, and we had both ordered our usual meal. Due to dietary restrictions, I got steak and cheese nachos with only that. When it’s time for the bill to be paid, we’re looking at it and we were charged $20 only for the nachos. This wouldn’t of been an issue if we were paying for what we were getting, except there were less than 10 pieces of steak slivers on the nachos, and barely any cheese. We had asked our waitress about it and she just stood there and didn’t really say anything and said she’d go get her manager. The manager was so rude and she had such a bad attitude. She explained that she wouldn’t be adjusting any prices or doing anything and that it was our fault. She almost had my grandmother in tears, especially after she said “ Maybe next time order a kids meal if you don’t want to pay the price of a full meal.” She made no effort to fix it or even act like she’d cared about what we were saying. She also told my grandmother to go to Krogers and see if she could actually get a steak for $20 and to come back and tell her. Not only was this uncalled for because it was rude and snobby. We told her we wouldn’t be coming back after this experience, which is sad because we love this restaurant, and all we got in response was : “ This was your own fault, so it’s on you.”

Needless to say we won’t be going back, and the female manager shouldn’t be a manager if she isn’t going to work on her customer service skills and actually being a kind person. We were okay without a price adjustment for the food, her attitude and treatment towards us was beyond uncalled for. $20 for meat and cheese nachos is obscene and I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to...
