Every time we've gone to this Sonic we've had some sort of problem. Whether it be bad customer service or problems with the food. We don't eat it often but this location is so close we just go there. The other night my brother and I ordered food at the drive in. The woman who took our order was new but she was really nice and you could tell she was trying to do a really good job. I asked if they had buffalo sauce and she said that they did not have it as a dipping sauce but they have the kind that they use for the wings. She said she would see if she could just put some in a condiment container for us an we said okay. We completed the order and were waiting when a guy who I guess was the manager comes on the intercom and says "for future reference we do not sell buffalo sauce and she is new so she didn't know that but we can give you the buffalo sauce this time but for future reference you cannot get buffalo sauce here." We said okay but it was really unnecessary for him to say all of that. He could have just had her come back and tell us that they don't have buffalo sauce and asked if we would like anything else. The server brought us our food and they put a big burger, 2 tator tots, fries, and a medium popcorn chicken all in one bag which I thought was kind of odd but we just paid and headed home. When I lifted up the bag to get out of the car, the bag ripped and everything fell out onto the ground. The bag was so greasy and was carrying so much weight that it was bound to rip. I called back to Sonic to see if they could replace the food that fell on the ground and after holding for what seemed like forever they said they would as long as we picked up the food that fell on the ground and brought it back as proof. He claimed that other people have called saying their food fell on the ground just to get free food and said the only way they could is if we brought back the damaged food. We pick it all up and drive back and the manager comes out to take the fallen food. They cooked some new ones for us and again forced it all into one bag. We had to craddle the bag so it wouldn't rip again, it did but thankfully we were inside and had it on the table by then. The food was bad anyway. The popcorn chicken was overcooked to the point that they were hard and the meat inside was almost non existent, the tator tots were also over cooked and extremely greasy. It was honestly a waste of money but hey we've learned our lesson and will be going to the one on Josey...

On my way to Fort Worth this morning at 10:30 on 5.21.17. I stopped at the Sonic on Frankford and Marsh and attempted to order a Route 44 Iced Mocha. It was on the menu listed at $3.99. The manager, with a long brown hair and a single braid. She told me that there was not a button for it and that she could not sell me the drink. So I suggested that she charge me $3.99 for another item and she said that would "mess up her inventory." I told her that I would just go to the Midway location that sold me the drink earlier this morning. She told me the names of people there and assured me that I would be refused there too. So I set my GPS on my iPhone and headed down the George Bush Turnpike. I finally stopped at Jack in the Box and got a Diet Dr. Pepper. I can't tell you what being refused to be served feels like when I had the money to pay in cash for the drink $3.99 plus tax. I am just really disappointed and disgusted at this employee's raging hatred and treating me as if I am unreasonable and criminal to buy a drink that is listed clearly on the menu but there is not a button for it? That's discrimination. She didn't offer to sell me two medium drinks and let me buy a Route 44 cup of ice. No. In fact, when I said I would go to another store she assured me that I would be refused to there too. I am ashamed of this person and her hateful attitude and denial of service for me, a paying customer. This is 2017 and this kind of hatred and denial I thought was over in the 1960's. I am ashamed to be a Texan today if she calls herself one too. I am embarrassed, ashamed and disgusted at her hatred. I just wanted you to know the level of service that we can expect at the Frankford and Marsh location in Dallas....
Read moreI do not usually post reviews, but I had to make an exception. My husband and I come to this location at least once a week because it is very close to where we live. They are usually pretty slow, like we usually wait about 15 mins for just drinks or drinks and a snack. Which I mean, yes, it's slow. But we don't really care too much usually because we just have accepted it's always pretty slow. Today though..absolutely nuts. I pressed the button to order and waited for 15 minutes before I got a response. I am not at all exaggerating. When they did take my order, it showed up on the screen wrong. I tried correcting the guy taking my order, but he just quickly told me my total and was gone. I tried pressing the button again but they never answered it. So I get my food after another 10-15 mins and it is wrong. The only positive is the one carhop they had working was very nice and trying her best. So they fixed the issue with my food, though it did take awhile. I pulled in to the ordering area around 3:45, and I didn't leave until 4:20. I am NOT exaggerating. I don't usually care about waiting that much, but this was ridiculous. It seems they are always understaffed. The car hops are always nice, and I can tell they are working hard, but something is SERIOUSLY wrong with the way they are being scheduled or managed...A lot of the time they will just come up and ask me "Did you order __?" and when I say no, they just wander to to other cars and ask them until they find the right one...I don't understand that. Something is...
