I go to Starbucks almost every single day, and lately this is the one that I go to since I work from home due to COVID. I have been a gold member for years now BTW so I am obviously used to the excellent customer service, but this location gives the whole company a bad name. I usually go in the morning on weekdays, and yes, the lines are usually long, but they move quickly and the service is always great! Today is Sunday. It was busy when I went by, so I placed my order on the app and went to the gas station to fill up before in order to pass some time. I took my precious time and got to Starbucks about 15 minutes later. My order wasn’t ready, but I was fine with that. I stood to the side and waited patiently. When the young lady named ‘Jess’ called my name I stepped up to the counter and received my drink. I told her I had a croissant as well. She seemed annoyed already and reached behind her and handed me a croissant that had been sitting there the entire 20 minutes I was in the store. I touched it and it was cold and hard, so I told her I asked for a warm one. She snatched it out of my hand, rolled her eyes, and threw it in the trash angrily. I just looked at her and was not even going to say anything to her, but she goes down to the oven, throws a croissant in the oven, and starts making hand motions as if I’m crazy. I told her before I left that if she snatched something else from me I’m going to snatch her up, and the manager decides to step in to defend her. I’m going back in the morning, because I’m sure that was only a shift manager. I will update once I talk to GM/ DM, because I am disgusted with the treatment I received here today!
Update: I spoke with the AM the next day. She apologized, and gave my order free. The GM overheard, and brought me 2 courtesy cards adding up to $8. They promised they would handle the situation. I appreciate the gestures, but really just wanted those employees to be dealt with and to be treated with some dignity and respect. The managers were very nice, and seemed to take my complaint seriously. I waited 5 days to update, and I can say the service has been great. The drive-thru line is also...
Read moreI usually don't have an issue with any Baristas making the drink like I want it. It's a small add on change of base, and is recommended by any other Barista I've been too. So the fact she was trying to charge me for something else I wasn't wanting to order was upsetting. I got my order and it looked fine, thouh walking out I heard it being discussed behind the counter, but clearly knowing I wanted the base after I made to order through the app; I tasted it and it tasted terrible with no frap base. You could argue that it's a different menu item, but when you only need to change the base by adding frap pumps, it changes the flavor and texture while still being the order you wanted. Made very easy by again many other Baristas and recommend for a cheaper value price. So being came at; when I tried to explain my order of a simple add on change was unnecessary and overcomplicating. I'll have to go to another Starbucks for them to help fix my issue. I wasn't going to argue or go back and complain, because if it's not a simple change you can make; then it wasn't going to be a simple fix remade. So instead leaving this review to voice the frustration instead of...
Read moreI want to start by saying that while this review won’t be favorable I am not diminishing the hard work and patience the staff at this location displays given that they are working in a hotspot. HOWEVER I did wait 30 minutes for a simple drink(coffee frappe). The location is clean and well kept but the communication and organization behind that counter needs some serious work. I felt terrible for everyone who had waited 30-40 minutes prior to my wait on items that were given to them incorrectly or cold(bakery items). I do not appreciate that the woman(whom I’m assuming is the manger because she was directing the others) was picking and choosing who’s orders to rush to them. I watched customers who’d submitted mobile orders wait longer than to two individuals who walked in, ordered, and waited all of five minutes be given their orders. While their orders may have also been simple, it’s not fair to the other waiting customers that someone who’d arrived and ordered after them were served before them. You can clearly the see that the staff is busting their behinds to get these orders out but management needs some improvement on flow...
