Taco Cabana — Restaurant in Dallas

TacoCabana Gro Taco Cabana 4355 W Camp Wisdom Rd, Dallas, TX 75237-2418 Today, Sunday July 1, 2018 around 9am, I went through the drive thru to order breakfast tacos. 7 Potatoe, egg & bacon soft breakfast tacos. Everything went fine until I made it home. As I drove home, I ate a taco. Then made it home put the taco Cabana bag into the microwave and let my family know the tacos we're there. My daughter in law woke up to feed my granddaughter. She opened one up and fed her the potatoes, eggs and bacon. Then, took one out for herself. She took a bite. Ate what she bit. Then opened the taco to add salsa, to find a full fake eye lash cooked right into the food!!!! I called Taco Cabana, and spoke with a lady who was so rude when hearing my complaint. When I asked for the manager, he wasn't there. When I asked for a time he would be there, she had no idea. I then told her I was on my way there... All of a sudden the manager was there and I was given his name. I then drove to the restaurant, and seemed that the manager was waiting for me. Mind you he was apologetic, but no where accountable. Not his employees. I don't think he was realizing, he was speaking to someone who worked the food industry, being a chef once myself and held a food handlers license before and knows all policy's and procedures in the cooking world. This is such a disgusting situation. He wanted to take the food and my receipt. We customers put our trust in these restaurants, and to consume food with foreign objects in it. Something MUST be...

I went through this taco cabana drive through around 1:40 pm on 5/13/23. When I pulled up, I was the only one in line, so I rolled down my window just as it started to rain and waited for about 30 seconds or so and heard no one on the intercom come to assist. At this point, my car started to get wet due to the window being rolled down, so I saw no harm in pulling up to the window where there was a cover to wait for help. A lady came to the window and rudely told me I had to order at the intercom. I told her I did wait to order and no one greeted me, so because my car was getting wet, I pulled up to get help. She said she did greet me, but I had my window rolled up and that there were cars behind me who had ordered. My thought was if she saw my window rolled up to begin with, why didn’t she wait till I rolled it down to answer? However, at that point, I was frustrated with her poor service level, so I told her never mind and just drove off. This place is unsanitary and other that the cashiers, unprofessional.First thing that was wrong was that When we looked for a table, the only one available wasn't even clean, a young lady came out and whipped, and what I can only assume, sanitized the table. Granted she DID appoligize for the state the table was in. The next indecent was when one of my companion went into the women's restroom and found that the tampon waste basket was completely full even though we warched a employee just come from said restroom. The salad bar was understocked and looked to have been sitting out for the last 6 hours at least. The icing on the cake though would have to be when two employees came out to change the ice dispenser, on man handed the lid to a woman to hold whilst he did his job and the woman PLACED THE LID ON THE GROUND IN FRONT OF US! And the man then proceeded to put the lid back on the ice dispenser! When I came in here to purchase dinner for my companions I was expecting to get a descent meal in a sanitary.
