Customer service here was extremely terrible !!! Just Terrible ,and its sad because the food here at Tacos El Patron Dallas Fort Worth Turnpike location is great! Ive been here with my family a few time ,I had been On the roade on this day September 29th at around 1:40pm with my family for a few hourse and we drove out of our way to eat here , we called 20 minuts before hand to ask about a specific menue Item , Once we arrived I headed to the RRs noticed they were locked headed back to the front asked the lady at the register to use the RR, she replied that RRs were for paying customers only , I told her i planned to eat here and that I actually called before hand 20 minuts prior , she relpied Yes and that it was her I spoke to ? she continued to argued with me back and forth telling me the only way I could use the rrm was to Order first , I kept telling her it was an emergency and she replied "everyone says that" ?? , I dont know about yall but this is not ok what soever to treat anyone like this , The way she handled the situation when I asked to speak to a manager and refused to give a contact number with someone of authority to the restaurant and said her father-in law was thw owner of the place ??this is not ok , poor poor cuatomer servie , after unnessesery arguing back And forth she finaly gave me the rr key but customers were watching and it was so embracing ,something simple that her as a manager should have been able to take care of ?,especially after explaining to her the situation , she should not be a manager at all if, she is not capable to deal with cuatomer service issues and this was not even supose to be a customer service issue SHE made it one. Also be careful going i to the RR they have a Hazzardous rug at the entrance of the RR people and I myself kept tripping while...
Read moreGave it one star to post.. Never been here before so I looked it up on Google maps, looked at the menu and decided to order a beef Torta which was priced at around 11 dollars with french fries, drove to the place and ordered it but without the fries, was charged $14 plus. Showed the lady who took my order the price listed on their website, said they haven't changed it yet and wouldn't give me the price listed. So I took the torta anyway, and when I got back to work to enjoy what I thought was a freshly made torta was everything but !! The Bread was soggy and falling apart, the beef looked and tasted like it was from the day before, tomatoes were over ripe and tasted awful ! Needless to say I didn't finish the other half ! I will never go back to this place again.. I usually frequent Tex Mex places because that's what I prefer ( born in San Antonio) I don't frequent Mexican Places ever for this particular reason.. gave it a try because it looked good on the menu ! Live and...
Read moreThis place looks like it is part of the gas station but it has it's own entrance/suite. I ordered a milanesa torta and it was bigger than I expected. For $7.99+tax you get a large sandwich, some fries, and some grilled onions. The bread was noticeably buttered, reminding me of the taste of Texas toast (except soft). I'd probably give the fries 3 out of 5 stars, very average but well prepared. The sandwich was nothing mind blowing but was good nonetheless. The red salsa was very average but the green salsa was quite good. It reminded me a bit of the Pollo Regio green sauce but much spicier.
It took a few minutes to get my food. I think that's good because you are getting fresh made to order food rather than fast food junk. On another note I ran across a lot of positive reviews online for this place written in Spanish. Everyone eating here when I was here spoke Spanish. That speaks volumes about it's...
