Taco Cabana — Restaurant in Dallas

7am in the morning got to the speaker didn't even know what she said I'm assuming "taco cabana" but really fast and rude. I simply ask do y'all have burritos her response "naw, just tacos" okay well let me get " two tacos bacon egg cheese Sausage potato and pico" her response "you want bacon egg and cheese" "no and repeated what I said" her response " you want all that on 1 taco" I responded "yes in both of them". Her " we are out of sausage until 8am" "okay then give me beef" her " we are out of beef, we'll hold on I can make some" me "okay" Her "that's it I'll have your total at the window" somehow that quick my order was already ready. There was no pico on my tacos she said it was in the bag didn't ask me what sauce I wanted she just put red sauce and a thing of tomatoes I'm guessing that's the pico whic it wasn't. I started looking at my food and the beef was not done. I told her and she said that it was the way they cooked it with the tomatoes in it. That's fine but I see the tomatoes this right here is meat that is still pink I went to show her and she gets loud you want your money back no can you just remake my food she steady saying you want your money back so I finally was like why you being rude yeah just give me my money back but I want it back from the cash drawer because I'm not going to want to wait for it to go back on my card she stated that she had already put it back on my card when I was saying something was wrong with my food and it was not put back on my card. She said its back on your card I said I'm not going to want to wait she said your not so I called my card and it was not on there. I told her and she said you have to wait. 12 hours. Never have I had bad service from this place maybe a long wait but that's it something needs to be said or done to her like FIRED for sure she is rude has no customer service at all on top of that she said she was the manager. This is what I walked in and it grossed me the main door was locked even though there was a visible sign that states to remain unlock when building is occupied their reason was they didn't have the manpower to fully operate Employees were overworked and complaining and I personally began to encourage the cashier who stated he's helping his mom with 7kids but management stopped working drive thru as he was sweating so rapidly washed a clean 🔪and cut board because an employee was cross contaminating beef and chicken 🐔 well he made my order and messed it up as well got home and the lettuce was withered he put rice and refried beans as I asked him not to when he took my order request... It was late and I didn't have the strength to drive back to Taco Cabana but I refused to wait any longer ....I wanted to go back so badly because This was definitely a bad experience a food poison hazard and employee labor abuse. One more thing I asked for tea and was told the machine had been down for quite some time.This place and the employees need help... I would love to give Taco Cabana another try on their expense and not mine's hopefully Taco Cabana will respond responsibly and respectfully. Update: 10/18/2017 A few days later I became ill I had to be rushed to ER I begin to began to have severe chills, stomach cramps, body aches , diarrhea, loss of appetite and sweats. Yes I got food poisoning from Taco Cabana on Camp Wisdom in Dallas Tx. I still haven't been contacted in regards to their poor customer service, contaminated food and also corporate hasn't acknowledged...

Service is lacking during the AM hours. But before I give a brief account of my experience, Here's a list of things that are more fun than getting attitude from Customer Service in the early AM hours:

✔ Throw a box of Legos on a 120 degree day on concrete and walk on them BARE FOOT. ✔ Tie some pork beef around your neck and run into a fortified junk yard that sells parts for $ and protected by Rottweilers and Pit Bulls for Funsies ✔ Fill up Grand Canyon with Thumb Tacks and dive in Butt cheeks first cause why not? ✔ Build time machine, find Bruce Lee, Cesar Chavez and Mike Tyson in their prime and call them a wuss ✔ Tell the Girlfriend/Wife "Yes that makes you look fat"....Actually, don't do that, that's just asking for a 1st Class Ticket to your grave.

Anyways: Pulled up to window cause no answer through speaker: "Uh we have a speaker Sir". OK, well, just want some breakfast Tacos. Wanted to order 2 dozen for Co-Workers. Immediately got a lashing. "Should have ordered online, do you know our morning rush is coming, etc." I was like OK. Fine. I'll make a note of that. Went through some other things but won't go into detail. I'll just say this. Food isn't horrible, but a little bit of hospitality goes a long way. Not looking for anyone to kiss anyone's you-know-what but I don't get up in the morning and think to myself "Gee, who's day should I make a little less enjoyable". :) Anyways. Be good to each other folks, we're ALL trying to make it in this world just hopefully without making others...
