ROYAL INN — Hotel in Dallas

We booked this hotel on the 28th of August since we were trying to beat Hurricane Laura before it got to our home in Louisiana. This was the worst hotel we have ever been to in our lives!! When we first got the room, the older man at the front desk was a freakin jerk the whole time, we asked for a 2 bed room since we had our daughter with us and he literally gave us a single bed and said he couldn't change the room. Well we were tired of talking with this terrible front desk attendant and decide to go to sleep. They had only 1 pillow and this was the flattest pillow I've ever seen in my life, I had to put the one towel we got in the pillow case to actually have a pillow. To make it worse we found a small bag of meth on the floor where our daughter could have easily grabbed it and possibly killed herself. At our check out I asked the lady in the front if the manager or a supervisor was there and she said no. Well I explained to her what had happened and she didn't even care, she basically made it seem like we were making all of this up! I asked her to write her first and last name down and all she did was give me a corner piece of paper with a scribble on it. This was a terrible experience in which Law Enforcement needs to get involved because if these are the kind of people they hire, I don't even want to imagine what the owner is like or their other hotels. You certainly got lucky that my daughter didn't die at your hotel because this would have been a whole different conversation. A business partner and I stayed in what we were led to believe was a clean and affordable motel, the Royal Inn located in Dallas, Texas. After our first few nights in the room, we were covered in itchy red welts and a strange circular rash. We visited the doctor (not at the top of our "to do" list) and were told we had contracted ringworm and bedbugs. Neither of us have ever had any experiences like this, so we went to the motel management. They promptly told us they didn't know what we were talking about, but moved us to another room. I examined the new room and found countless bedbugs, and the bedding smelled unwashed and stale with body oils; I again went to management and they said they would check into the matter. ||||However, their resolution was to ask us to leave their establishment, offering no apologies or partial refund of the weekly rate we had paid. Our greatest concern is that we could potentially lose most of our electronic equipment, clothing and personal possessions, which we had in the room. My understanding is that bedbugs will infest everything in the room, and now we are possibly facing getting rid of 3 Les Paul guitars and studio recording equipment in addition to our other belongings.||||Bottomline, we received hundreds of bedbug bites and a ringworm infection with NO REFUND! The manager in this office don’t have a heart. She money hungry and doesn’t care about people. I paid for a room and less than 2 in a half hours I was out the room it was infested with roaches and the key card didn’t work at all had to go into the office several times and key still didn’t work so they had to come let us in 2 times. We checked in at 12:30 am and left out at 3:00 roaches was crawling on the bed and tables one came out the room soon as the door open . We asked the guy in the office that was working if they had another room he said he couldn’t put us in another room because he didn’t wanna loose his job basically if we can stick it out til tomorrow they can check into it. But the roaches was just too bad to sleep. Went back the next moral she had to say was she will give us a discount. So the police were called and 2 officers came but I own kind didn’t even care to talk to us sad world we live in but I would recommend this trash to any one. They gets no stars.
