Went there with family for lunch after Sunday service. Arrived at 12:30pm. Restaurant was half full (I could see the entire seating area) so we thought 'not bad, they'll get us going pretty quick'. WRONG!!!! It took 30 plus mins mins to get us seated! Finally got seated, waiter came by after 15-some minutes. First she wants to "take our drink orders", cool. But what about some cheddar bay biscuits to get us going?, we asked "we're currently baking some, we've run out" she said. Brought our drinks after another 15 plus mins. This is now 30 mins after we got seated. No biscuits in sight - "we're backed up...". She's now ready to take our m eal orders - done, and left. She then returns after another almost 30 mins with a basket of biscuits - 6 and a half broken one. We're a party of 8 (including 2 toddlers now ancy cos they're hungry). We're like, "the biscuits are not enough to go around the table". Her response: "that's what we've baked right now, they're baking more...". This is now almost 1hr since we got seated... when the first (incomplete) basket of biscuits was served to us. Then we patiently waited another 30mins. Did not return with our food until around 2:15pm (track the time here - we arrived at 12:30, got seated at 1pm, food did not come out till almost 2:30pm). Meanwhile, the second basket of biscuits hadn't STILL been given to us! My clam chowder was served lukewarm. I absolutely wasn't going to send it back as there was no telling when it'll come back out! I asked for plastic ware for the kids. 15mins later, still hadn't gotten it. I finally flagged another waiter and asked her "how long does it take to get plastic spoons?" She said she'd get them right away for us - and she did (while our waiter had still not returned to give it to us). Midway through eating our meals, there she comes with the second basket of biscuits. We're like, 'really?, how is that supposed to work?' 'So much for "cheddar bay biscuits every 15mins..." as advertised on the menu. This place is severely understaffed. I could literally count the number of tables with customers (half of the restaurant) BUT YET, service is severely slow. Not asking for swift service, just reasonable service time. On 01/28/2025, My co-workers and I went to Red Lobster at the Duncanville location. I Ordered the Tuesday Special which is Snowcrabs. When my order came out, my crabs looked like they were just born (very small). One of my co-workers ordered the same as I did, and her Crabs were Adult Crabs! I asked for a Manager (Deanna) and told her about my issue with the portion size and that I dare not pay the same as my co-worker and her crabs were Very Big and mine were very small. She (the Manager Deanna) stated “that the crabs were portioned and it's 2 clusters was the limit” and she left the table. Another so-worker arrived late, and she ordered the same crab special as we did. When her order came out she had 3 Clusters of crabs, and they were Huge! I asked for the manager again (Deanna) and told her to look at my co-worker’s plate that just came out and that she (Manager Deanna) stated that the 2 clusters were the limit. She (Manager Deanna) looked at my co-worker’s plate and said "Oh They Gave Her Too Many Crab". I said Oh Really! So how are you going to make my order right? She (Manager Deanna) said “Well it's nothing I can do”; they gave her too many clusters. Then the (Manager Deanna) said “I can take it off your ticket” and walked off. Her attitude was Stank, and she showed No Remorse or even tried to Rectify/Resolve my issue and try and make it Right....... I told her that if you can’t make my order right, then I was going to post a online review and that I was going to name her in my review. She said OK and walked off again and Never Came Back To The Table!! Her customer service As A Manager was Nasty and She's Terrible and Insensitive! Go to another location and please don't come to the Duncanville Location!! And if you come this location, please make sure that she is NOT on Duty, because she is Not going to Help You OR Rectify your issue. Heidi (Another Manager there) is THE BEST!! She would’ve fixed the problem, being that we go there every Tuesday night!! Not Anymore!! Read moreMy mom, fiancée, grandma and I went here about a month ago to try their new seafood boils and our experience was so horrible I’m still thinking about it a month later. This location is severely understaffed, and it appears they don’t have the infrastructure and supplies to deal with the new seafood boil demand. We waited for 45 minutes (it was a Sunday so I can understand that) but when we were brought to our table it was wet, not damp, wet. The hostess noticed and just didn’t say anything until we asked her to dry it. She did eventually. We waited another 10 mins for our server to come and he was nice at first but clearly stressed out. We ordered our food, and we all got different things with special requests and he didn’t write any of it down. When the food finally came after 40 more mins , every dish we ordered had something wrong with it. The seafood boils were extremely disappointing, the flavors were weird. The quality of the seafood was lacking in everything but the crab legs, and our cups stayed empty after we finished them waiting for our food. My grandmas food never came and she only ordered a salad. When we brought it up to the waiter, he just said Ok then walked away. That was the last time we saw our server. He was walking back and forth ignoring our table. When our neighboring table asked for his help he told them “i’m swamped I can’t help you” So then we asked for the manager. My mom had to go find her and she was nice and comped some of our bill. Then when my mom brought back the receipt. I noticed the server charged us for 5 meals instead of 4, and the manager comped the wrong items off our bill. It took 30 more minutes to find the manager and get her to fix it. The server somehow ended up with my card and just walked away with it and forgot to give it back. The manager had to track him down and get it back. On top of that the manager made me wait 20 more minutes in the bar area because she needed me to sign the receipt that she was having trouble finding. I was so pissed off we just left.
