I feel like this was place went down. I went to visit yesterday and was not satisfied at all. I USED to LOVEEEE this place. I was truely heartbroken because it was not that nice presentation nor did it taste the same. I ordered 2 of the tres base and one with added coconut shavings and ong it was not the same great flavor. They also were out of bananas. Everything was just thrown into the bowl. I mean so messy it barely had any coconut base. Its usually layered but not yesterday. It was big blob of I peanut butter I couldn’t enjoy all the flavors together and before they did such a good job. I also ordered a small coconut base with strawberries ,coconut shavings, almonds and nutella. Well i think it was more of a nutella bowl with a bit of coconut almonds and coconut shavings. They forgot the strawberries and the nutella was so over powering like it was mainly nutella. Im so upset that we took this drive from terrell and were not satisfied at all. We ended up throwing them away cause they just were nasty. Ohh and the customer service definitely needs to be worked on. I felt as if the guy was maybe in a rush and there was no one in line. Vida Bowls is my new favorite go to spot!! Their açaí bowls are delicious, flavorful and packed with toppings!! But what really got me was the excellent customer service! Story time: I got off work late one night, around 9 pm. I wanted something good to eat but not too heavy because it was so late. So I went on DoorDash and typed in “smoothie” and Vida bowls was the only placed that popped up, because remember it’s after 9pm, no smoothie place is open at that time usually. So I placed an order for pick up and headed out that way. Once I got there I had a hard time finding the place so I called the number they had listed on google. The guy answered and guided me to where I needed to go. He then explained to me that there was some type of mishap with the DoorDash app & Vida Bowls had actually been close since 7pm. BUT HE CAME ALL THE WAY BACK TO WORK MORE THAN 2 HOURS AFTER THEY HAD BEEN CLOSED JUST TO TAKE CARE OF LITTLE OLE ME!!!! He could have just let me deal with DoorDash on my own but he didn’t. I went for the first time 2 days ago and I was disappointed with this place, I got the regular size bowl and was disappointed with the quantity of acai that is used, especially for the price. Speaking of which, it all tasted too sugary for my liking, don’t get me wrong I love my good share of sugar, but was not expecting the taste to be so overwhelming considering we’re talking about fruits and acai… (for context I got a regular acai bowl) The granola was very clumpy and stuck together and there was some black clumps along with the granola, (definitely were not blueberries) and it was very hard to chew, I was scared I would chip a tooth so I had to spit it out.
