Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday on this glorious day that God bless us to be here on this Earth. Like it says that this was a year ago so I'm just going to keep it real with you the time is 6:19 p.m. first of all I'd like to say to all the hard-working people at Whataburger and also the management the work they tell off thank you so much for being kind and also being friendly and satisfied the customer. Whataburger has been out for a long time that I can remember my grandparents used to love to go to Whataburger sometime once I have my grandmother had a shake and a hand and as my grandfather was driving the truck I don't know how it fell out the window from this day I really think about it sometime and laugh also because she was enjoying it and all of sudden this is out the window and also my grandfather was driving fast he always drove the truck slowed they say say like Miss Daisy. Those were some good memories I just want to share something with y'all to the day how I feel in love with them onion rings my my grandfather love the money Rings two. One day I had all of me some onion rings they just came out so you know they was right and fresh and also crispy so when I got home they were still warm I was sitting in the chair in the dining room right I start eating them one by one when I got to the last one it was so good my eyes was rolling back of my head and also I thought I was turning Into The Exorcist So I had to slap myself and make myself come back right meaning straighten myself so it took a minute or two for my eyes to pop back in place cuz I'm on the ring was so good I couldn't help myself. Also take notes on this one if you order a small onion ring you are going to be very mad at yourself because if you order the largest one they have it's that good you going to be very satisfied. That's why if you order the smallest one you going to be disappointed with yourself. That's why it's good to let the people know your experience good or bad and also if you don't mind sharing the food and also the hamburgers are delicious especially when you ask for a toasted. This is how I feel about a hard-working person all week long you have been working and also making sure that you be the dedicated and reliable person holding it down and also staying in your lane if I can say this. Treat yourself to a nice meal and also specify how you like it on your way and also throw in a little dessert if you like also if you like to have a little cocktail or wine that's good too but don't go overboard. Take time out with family that's good too on special occasions be safe like I said you can't go wrong at Whataburger every now and then what about it have one Dynamite hamburgers the way you like it. I feel like you don't work why not spoil yourself man or woman and I will not forget about those little special dumplings that mean little sweet kiddos or the little ones. I just think it's very important that you enjoy life together and with family and friends in your outing and decide where you like to eat at and enjoy yourself whatever you decide to go enjoy to the fullest if I can save hopefully someone else on here can understand where I'm coming from being a child of God. Do all the hard workers at Whataburger thank you so much for the one that you do and the time is that you show others and also some of them friendly management that hold it down and making sure that the cashiers satisfy us hopefully the owners will understand that they have some terrific people on board have a wonderful wonderful holiday on Monday...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNine pm on a Sunday night, dining choices are few in North Dallas. And, they are even fewer since the pandemic. I had been working hard all day cleaning house and my hotter than hot patio. All I had eaten was cereal and fresh fruit, (banana and blueberries) hours and hours ago for breakfast. Needless to say, I was hot and ravenous! But, where to go, and what to eat? Definitely, didn't want hot and heavy. The "what" was a salad. Definitely chill, right? The "where" was Whataburger. I know, I know, you're saying, "Say WHAT!!!" But, it's true! My breakfast may have clued you in to the fact that I'm trying to eat healthier. And, believe it or not, Whataburger has healthy choices for people on a tight budget, as we all are right now, right?
Whataburger's Apple Cranberry Chicken Salad was an answer to a prayer! Fresh apples, dried cranberries, a variety of fresh greens, and absolutely, freshly prepared, succulent, grilled chicken topped off with honey mustard dressing was exactly what I needed!
And, let's not forget service! Our cashier was a new employee, and she was faced with one of the pickiest eaters in the world, my daughter. When my daughter asked if she could have apples on a Cobb salad, which doesn't usually have apples, the new employee with admirable aplomb, asked her manager, Taj, if that was possible. Taj assured her, (I wish that had gotten her name too), that it was, and showed her how to enter it into her register. Taj told us that the grilled chicken would take about 5-7 minutes, and asked if that would be acceptable, and of course, we said that would be fine. Who would say "no" to fresh grilled chicken?!!!
My husband was born in Mexico, and he likes things spicy! Whataburger's Spicy Chicken sandwich was spicy enough even for him!
Now, let's discuss value. Two grilled chicken salads, a spicy chicken sandwich, a delicious vanilla shake, an equally delicious chocolate shake, a small Dr. Pepper, which at 16 ozs is not particularly small, and the shakes were 12 ozs each, and finally a fried apple pie, all for about $30. Taj even included a small French fries at no cost for making us wait for the chicken!
One more thing. Restaurant hours of operation have been in flux since lock down. We have on occasion been turned away even though we arrived at a restaurant before the closing time posted on the door or on Google. At Whataburger on Frankford Road and The Dallas North Tollway in Plano, Texas, right beneath the big Whataburger sign there is another big sign that reads "24 Hour Service," and that is exactly what they mean. Not, "Our drive through is open 24 hours, but our dining room closes at 9, or 10, or 11 pm." No. "24 Hour Service" in both their drive thru AND their dining room, and it's service with a smile š. So, thank you Taj! You've just earned yourself 3 very satisfied customers!
So, if you want good, healthy, fresh food for a great price, excellent, friendly service, 24 hours day or night, I'd like to suggest you give Whataburger on Frankford Road and The Dallas North Tollway in Plano, Texas a try. And, if it's around nine pm on a Sunday night, say "hi" to Taj, one of the best fast food restaurant managers we have ever had the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter today I will never patronize Whataburger again. Around 12:43 pm I ordered in the drive-thru. The black girl with the tongue ring and afro had a nasty attitude. After giving my credit card, she proceeded to make my fountain drink, and held my card. After asking for my card back she shoved it In my hand, and told me to pull up. More than 15 minutes had passed, and I noticed the cars behind me and in lane B had gotten their food before me. The other customers had larger orders than mines. After the car behind me got their order, I had to move out of the way and drive back around and get in line again. Once I drove back up to the window the maniac employee tried to ignore me so I had to honk to get her attention. I was very upset, and asked did she intentionally not give me my order and why the other cars had been served because at this point it was pushing 30 minutes. The girl became disrespectful and said you better not snatch this from. So I grabbed the bag, and she decided to assault me with the Ketchup and ruin my car with condiments . While the commotion was happening employees witnessed this interaction, and she was acting tough behind the window telling her employee she wanted to fight. The manager Islam came and was not apologetic. She watched her employee use profanity through the window, and even gave me a fake name when I tried asking who the employee is. After being assaulted, I went inside to speak with another manager, and she was still in the drive thru cursing, and making a fool out of herself . This type of trashy behavior is unacceptable, and incidents like this can turn into legal situations.
Shame on management, and the cowardly employee who threw food on me while she was hiding behind...
