Today I came in to sell my PlayStation 5, that I only played for a few hours that I purchased at GameStop not too long ago. I was willing to take a few hundred-dollar loss since I wasn't using it. I'm a regular at this location I love the manager. But today I had to deal with something I've never dealt with in my life. The employee that was helping me today, left after making me wait 20 minutes for the system to upgrade so they could purchase it, as it was updating, that employee left and went home during a shift and the other employee took over, after waiting about 30 to 40 minutes, the employee tells me okay we don't have any cash available and I'll have to give you a prepaid card, I said that's unacceptable I really need cash professionally and I told him I understand the process and that I will have to wait for the safe to be unlocked so he could get the cash, I don't do prepaid debit cards, to the me those were sketchy and also I needed to put the cash into my ATM immediately and I was not going to pay ATM fees. He got very upset got very angry and he tried to give me an excuse and said he didn't have any money and that they were $400 short, if anything I'm a customer and I'm only here to buy games and sell games if anything, I did not need for him to give me excuses or to harass me, he started raising his voice and a cameras need to be checked immediately, I need someone in corporate to look into this immediately, the time was around 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. . I told them I was going to report him to corporates and leave a one-star review on Google and I was going to talk to the manager, then he started threatening me and he went and told the manager that I was the issue but no not at all I was very calm and I wasn't going to take his excuses for his slip of being $400 short for whatever reason that is but I now after being a victim and having him raise his voice at me and tell me off with two customers in the store I realized instead of giving me $211 he gave me 2 $100 bills and two $1 bills instead of $1 bill and a $10 bill which means he shorted me $10. So now I understand why the store was short maybe $400. So not only was I harassed today, but I'll never come to GameStop ever again, because I'm a victim of abuse and harassment for my entire life because my mother is a narcissist and I've been around horrible situations so this was unfair to me but also this needs to be dealt with. You need to look into the cameras immediately because to lose me as a customer after being with you all for 15 years on a regular basis and after him going crazy and psychotic on me, this has to be dealt with immediately. Because I felt threatened and I felt like I had to say sorry to him so he would calm down. It was very scary to me. Very narcissistic too, making me out to be the problem when I just told him I wouldn't take his excuses it wasn't my issue It was unacceptable for the employee to leave during mid shift and for him to make me wait 45 minutes and tell me he wouldn't give me cash, this is absolute corruption. Please I need your help but really I don't ever want to talk to GameStop ever again I'll never come back again and I hope you take care of the situation and yes please send me the $10 in the mail after you look at the cameras and see that the numbers are short in the safe 18352 Dallas Pkwy #144, Dallas, TX 75287 Is the store location And I tried telling him I was sick and I had to go home I didn't not want to sell my PS5 today but I wasn't playing it and I needed the funds for my account.
